question

This item has been delayed several times already... what's going on?
Asked by: Tony C.
B&H has received some 64 AF-1 flashes from Metz, which have gone to filling pre existing orders. At this time I wouldnt be able to say how long it might take to fill all orders and have the flash actually on the shelf. If you haven't already, you could choose the Notify When in Stock option on the flashs page on our website. We would then send you an email when it came into stock. Otherwise, we are accepting orders for the flash, which are being filled in the order they are placed.

question

Do you need the Sony ADP to MAA flash shoe adapter or any other adapter for full function use on the A6000.
Asked by: Anonymous
No. As the Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera Body and the Metz Mecablitz 64 AF-1 digital Flash for Sony Cameras both use the new Sony Multi-Interface hot shoe, there is no adapter needed to connect the Metz Mecablitz 64 AF-1 digital Flash to the Sony Alpha a6000 Digital Camera. The flash connects directly onto the camera's hot shoe without an adapter.

What do I need to purchase to use the Mecablitz 64 off camera with my Sony A7II? Do I need to purchase the Metz WT-1 Wireless Trigger Kit? or will just the WT-1 transmitter work? Will other brand radio triggers work with it too?
Asked by: laura
You would need the Metz WT-1 Wireless Trigger Kit for Sony, BH # MEMZWT1KS, which has a transmitter and receiver. https://bhpho.to/3mfuLix

question

This item IS available from Metz on their web site. Why after two months on order do YOU not have it?
Asked by: richard h.
I contacted Metz this morning, and they confirmed a few things for me. First is they have a shipment of the flash scheduled to arrive to us in the next week or so to fulfill the pre-orders we have taken to this point. Second, they also confirmed that the flash is not available as in stock on their site, but is available in the sense that they are accepting orders on it, same as B&H and other of their authorized dealers are.
