The 10x2 Roto Rack Case by SKB is a 12 RU travel and storage case for the mobile DJ. Its slanted 10U top rack is designed for DJ gear less than 3.5" in depth while the 2 RU bottom rack holds all standard 19" gear. The unibody base is roto-molded of Linear Medium Density Polyethylene while the lid and doors are injection molded of Rubber Modified Styrene. Steel threaded rails allow you to mount even the heaviest of rack gear securely, while the side access ports keep your cables neat and organized.
The Roto Rack Console features SKB's patented TSA trigger latches ensuring the lid is secure and your gear remains safe. The case's lid provides a flat hard top for stacking and storage transport. Even with the lid closed, the case provides enough space to mount the separately sold SKB AV-8 audio/video shelf providing a solid perch for a laptop or video projector.

This case is perfect
Very happy with my purchase.... and this case is perfect for a second Dj system... would recommend it to a friend
Sturdy and unique, but with some flaws
We needed a slant-top rack, for the height afforded to a video switcher's joystick. It fits perfectly for that purpose. however, the included rack screws (bonus!) won't thread into the front 2-rack space rails. They work correctly in the top rails, but the front rails' threads would not accept any screws we tried. The rails cannot be exchanged, because they are riveted to the case. Also, the handles on the sides of the case have serious ridges where your fingers would grip when lifting. You won't want to carry this any more than a couple of steps. The overall design is good, and the structure is solid. A few implementation tweaks would earn this product 5 starts.
