question

Can anyone please describe what, in their opinion, is the kind of printed image quality difference can I expect moving from a Canon 5D III and Canon prime 14mm to a Pentax 656z and this lens?
Asked by: Chuck
Any prime lens should have a better resolution than any zoom from the samecompany. Also, all zooms are sharper at the wide end. The main question, to ask yourself, is: Do you need/want to spend $12,000+ for a new camera and new lens or can you still work/earn money with your Canon 5DIII, which is still one of the best on the market. How big do you want to print. And, If you are thinking about having exhibitions and think you need larger prints... Try this... Show the gallery your work at the largest/best size with your Canon and then buy the Pentax, after you get a contract/fixed date for a show. Don't spend money on a fantasy. I owned a photo gallery in NYC, I know how it works.

Ask Pentax. It will also work with any 82mm lens caps and should be much cheaper

question

Anyone know what the maximum filter thickness is before vignetting at the 28mm end with the lens attached to a 645z body?
Asked by: Herbie R.
Unfortunately, I do not know. I steer clear of filters, generally. If you must use a filter, the thinner the better.
