The Tempo SSD Pro Plus SATA PCI Express Card from Sonnet is installed inside your computer to hold up to two 2.5" SSDs or hard drives and offers two eSATA ports. The controller chip on the card provides SATA III 6Gb/s data transfer rates for the storage drives and ports. You can install two SSDs onto the card and configure them for RAID 0 via software to deliver read speeds up to 960MB/s. This card also allows you to connect two external storage systems via eSATA for creating more space to store your files or improve performance by creating a RAID set with up to eight drives.

Tempo SSD Pro Plus is a full-length, full-height card that occupies a PCIe 2.0 x4 slot inside a Windows or Mac computer. Since the card is AHCI compliant, the drivers are installed automatically making installation of the card simple. This card is ideal for anyone who wants to maximize the full potential of SATA III 6Gb/s SSDs, when your system uses a controller that only provides SATA II 3Gb/s transfer rates.
