question

Do these lenses have internal focus like cine lenses, or does the barrel shift forward and backward a bit when focusing? Thanks.
Asked by: William P.
This lens does have internal moving optics for focusing, the barrel does not rotate, however it does shift a little, 2mm of movement lengthwise for focusing from 1m to infinity.

question

IS THIS LENS BEING 0.95 (COMPARED TO ROKINON 1.5 ) SHARP WIDE OPEN , AND IS IT ALSO VERY SHARP IN VERY LOWLIGHT CONDITIONS ? AND LAST - DOES IT EVEN COMPARE TO THE SHARPNESS IM HEARING OF THE NEW OLY 7-15MM PRO LENS AT 2.8 ?
Asked by: DALE F.
Almost all lenses that have as wide an aperture as f/0.95 or better can't get that sharp wide open. You would have to stop down a bit to get noticeable sharpness. It's hard to get true sharpness in low light, but it is still possible. And I have not used the Olympus 7-14mm at all, but I would imagine you'd be able to achieve sharp images easily.

question

Hi, does this need an adapter for an Olympus m43rd camera, and if so is one provided in the box? Thank you.
Asked by: Anonymous
This lens is a MFT (also known as Micro 4/3rds or as you typed m43rd) lens and will mount directly onto any Olympus or Panasonic Micro 4/3rds cameras. No adapter is required.

question

Is this lens working with Fujifilm x-e series?
Asked by: Wipuwut W.
The SLR Magic HyperPrime Cine II 25mm T0.95 Lens with MFT Mount would not be compatible with the Fujifilm X-mount mirrorless cameras, as the X-mount and Micro Four Thirds mount are different. SLR does make a 35mm T0.95 Cine lens for the Fuji X-Mount, though.
