The Pro Strap Plus with Quick Hitch Connector from Ruggard is designed for photographers in search of a more comfortable, secure and attractive way to carry heavier DSLR, mirrorless, or film cameras and lenses. This Pro Strap Plus is fully adjustable from 25 to 48" and may be worn from the neck, shoulder, or across the chest.

For comfort, the main body of this strap is a 2.25" wide by 16" long, contoured pad made of soft, stretchable, high-density neoprene with fabric edging and backed with 1" wide, elastic, heavy-duty polyester that can absorb and help reduce shock and fatigue. By varying the width, this ample, contoured pad selectively distributes the load over a larger area. The underside of the pad features traction dots to help prevent unwanted slippage. These qualities make carrying your gear for extended periods of time easier and more pleasurable.

At each end of the shoulder pad is a quick-release connector that locks upon insertion into the corresponding quick-release on the end of the strap connector. To remove, simply squeeze the sides of the connector and pull-apart. As an added safeguard against accidental connector separation, Ruggard has provided a unique, sliding thumb-lock that engages with an audible click. The thumb-lock can be easily disengaged with one hand by simply pressing and sliding it downward.

Included with the strap are two Quick Hitch connectors with a loop on either end for attaching to the camera's strap lugs. The Pro Strap Plus is also compatible with Ruggard 3/8 connectors. Replacement connectors are available for photographers who desire spares, want to switch connector styles, or attach a set of connectors to secondary cameras.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love Everything About It Except... I'm new to this level of photography, having just traded up from a point and shoot to my first DSLR ! So when I received my Ruggard Pro Strap, I was very pleased with the construction, and particularly the non-slip aspect. However, I guess I should have asked more questions because it didn't come with connectors. Because of the quality of the push latch bolt snap connectors on their camera bag I ordered, I just assumed... But ultimately, no harm, no foul, as I tracked some down at a local home improvement store, and feel confident my new investment camera isn't going anywhere !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Strap I really like this strap. It's comfortable and very functional. I often remove the neck pad when I put my camera on a monopod or tripod to get it out of the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good Ordered this carry my new Tamron 150 to 600. On my old Nikon body, it weighs almost eight pounds and I wanted to feel secure with it. Great product especially for the money. Since I use it as a sling strap, it would be nice to adjust just a little longer although me losing some weight would help with that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Danger! Everything is OK on this -except for the fatal flaw: The loops that connect to the camera don't have a swivel, so they are prone to twisting. I suspected this would eventually fail. I kept an eye on the loops, and sure enough, eventually my cam was hanging by a thread. I called manufacturer who said I was out of warranty (by just a few months) They said the replacement part was available at B&H and had been improved. But I'm not so sure. So I would steer clear of this item.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent replacement strap Use this on a 5D Mk III. Much better cushioning than the strap that came with the camera. has quick release. Comfortable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Strap broke & my camera hit the concrete! I initially liked this strap for it's comfort and design. I liked the quick release fasteners & way that the camera was attached to the strap because it seemed sturdy. I was on a shoot & the strap stitching came undone & my camera smashed to the ground. (I have a Canon 3D Mark III) I obviously would not recommend this strap! I also would like to mention that I was in the store and told the saleswoman which camera & lens I had & she said that it would hold the weight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good budget heavy duty strap (recommended) I bought this strap to replace the original strap on my D7100 as it is much more comfortable due to a wide neoprene shoulder pad. this allows you to use longer focul length lenses comfortably all day. it also allows you to unclip the shoulder pad shortening the strap enough to use as a wrap around wrist strap if you wish to keep the camera to hand for that opportunist shot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would buy same product again Fantastic Camera Strap - my 7D cannon attached to a 100mm Macro Lens , or my 400 mm lens is so more comfortable, than my original strap. that came with Camera-also love the quick connector When you buy a SLR Camera- do yourself a favour, get rid of the strap that comes with the Camera, and buy yourself a Pro Strap Plus, you won't regret it.
