cheap and effective

These work great. I would've never managed to repair an old V1 Summicron 50/2 collapsible if it weren't for these. And for their intended purpose for removal of stubborn filters these are great. Cheap and effective. A little bendy when it comes to VERY stuck items where one needs to apply a lot of force but they work.

waste of money

I have a step up adapter and a 62mm filter that won't separate. So I bought this wrench to disconnect them. No way, this Sensei filter wrench will not close adequately on a 62mm filter. Simply a waste of money.

Not for DJI Phantom 4 Pro

The 34mm outer diameter Polar Pro gradient filters can be brutal to unscrew from the P4P, even if one only snugs them up ever so slightly when installing. This is because the threaded ring distorts when gripped on two sides creating excess friction, and our hands are not well suited to distribute the grip evenly around the ring. Only one wrench option seems to be marketed in a size range that includes 34mm, and they were twice as expensive and out of stock. So, I figured that perhaps I could modify these by grinding down the inside surface of the grip to allow them to close the additional 3mm necessary. Once in hand, it became immediately apparent that even when squeezed down to their rated minimum, these wrenches distorted to a squashed circle. I measured the inner dimensions to be 37x40mm. I doubt they would even work on a 37mm OD ring if that ring flexed at all under two-sided compression. As such, I would avoid using them for filters anywhere near the lower end of their rated range if those filters flexed at all under uneven compression. Even if they provided the necessary grip strength to overcome the friction that they create, I would not be pleased with the additional wear that the threads incur. For now, I will continue my awkward method of using a thumb and three fingers to distribute pressure to four sides of the filters. If anybody ever really snugged one of these down, it might be there for life. Perhaps a bit of heat from a blow dryer would help.

Way too flimsy

I understand this is a really cheap product, but if your filter is actually stuck, don't waste the money, avoid plastic! I have a 95mm lens with a stuck B+W filter. The wrench just flexes and bends in your hand.

The cheap plastic bends and flops like a wet noodle. Absolutely terrible.

You will be impressed with the functionality of this small wrench. Removing a filter could sometime be an issue. No longer if you have this inexpensive tool. Installing in simpler in general. This tool could help in tightening your filter but if you do, you will need this tool to unistall.
