  • 1Description

The purple version of the JBL Synchros E40BT Bluetooth On-Ear Headphones feature a USB-rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides 16 hours of music playback and up to 24 hours of talk time using the built-in microphone. If the battery runs out, a straight AUX cable can be connected to the headphones for wired operation. The headphones feature JBL's Pure Konnexx echo cancellation to reduce background noise and improve the clarity of your music or phone call. The built-in Bluetooth receiver includes JBL's ShareMe technology that allows the audio signal to be re-transmitted and shared by a second set of JBL ShareMe Bluetooth-enabled headphones.

The headphones utilize 40mm drivers to deliver a frequency response of 20 to 22,000 Hz into a 32Ω load. The headband is ergonomically designed to conform to the head with leatherette earpads, and the earcups feature a 2-point swiveling hinge, which enables folding them for storage and one-ear operation while DJing.

    JBL E40BT reviews

Synchros E40BT Bluetooth On-Ear Headphones (Purple) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 78.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent On-Ear Bluetooth Headphones I have had these headphones for about 3 months now and I have no complaints about them. The battery life is great and the sound quality is good, especially for the price. The controls on the side of the ear work well, are easy to get used to, and work great with my Android phone. Plus the earcups swivel to the side so you can move them to shape the contours of your head. Once you find the sweet spot of where they fit they are incredibly comfortable; I wear them for 2+ hours a day on the subway and I wear glasses. Even though they aren't noise-cancelling, they do a fantastic job at noise isolation and blocking out a lot of sound. I only have to recharge them once a week too which is wonderful. If you're looking for a relatively inexpensive, but good quality pair of Bluetooth headphones I would highly recommend these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Battery Power On Bluetooth Music I've EVER Experienced! The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because I can't wear my winter hats comfortably with these as they are over-the-ear and command their amount of head space. Now the bass they deliver? TOP...NOTCH!!! I will sacrifice a couple skullies!! Overall very pleased. Pairing button with another headset, for me, is unnecessary. I would have rather had my voice command button prompt instead but perhaps this is some future I will eventually be pleased with. Get the color black it you get these for they come in mutiple colors and black matches with everything. I got blue; still pleased.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Essential value of JBL E40BT will depend on E50BT quality I listened to music and pod cases with the product. Sound quality was excellent and I could easily answer phone calls. I bought the headset knowing that several product reviewers mentioned that the left speaker failed. So, I was very careful handling the headphones, but the left speaker failed within 2 weeks of my purchase. JBL advised me that they would exchange my faulty headphones for the model E50BT (with 50 mm speaker instead of 40mm), and before I could return my E40BT the right speaker died. So, the essential value to me of the E40BT headphone depends on whether the replacement product has the same very obvious deficiency. The quality of the E40BT headphone was excellent during the very few times that the product was functional.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good for short term I'm on my second pair in one year. JBL's return policy and timeliness was great, however my second pair had the same issue as the first. I lost sound in the left speaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Sound, Would Recommend I never actually even considering buying bluetooth headphones, but these JBL Synchros Bluetooth Headphones are amazing! The headphones are really comfortable, and close the ear tight, almost like soundproofing it from the outside; which, in my opinion, is better than other sound-cancelling headphones. The sound quality is so crisp and clear. What makes it even better is my phone (ZTE Axon 7) has Dolby Atmos settings, that allow me to change the EQ, allowing me to fit the sound to different songs. The only downside is the volume keys don't adjust when plugged in manually,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Studio Quality! So you want wireless headphones? Comparing sound to price this is the best pair on the market. It's JBL sound quality without the Bose price. It's studio monitor without the studio monitor price. It's....well I think you got the message. Their so good---light, foldable, well-designed button placement (except for the power)---I've bought 3 pairs as gifts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What's Not To Like! After everything is said and done the number one criteria for rating a set of headphones is the sound. The sound is great. Balanced, wide, clear, worthy of the name JBL. The secondary criterion are pretty good also. The bluetooth feature, the 16 hours of use without needing a recharge, the light comfortable weight, the ability to fold them up when not using them, the placement of the buttons (except for the power)...it's easy to see thought went into their design. Even the price is (relatively speaking) right.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too small The sound was great and the pairing worked flawlessly, however the earcups are too small, even for a 7 year old. Because it's sitting directly on the ear and not around, the pressure to the ear is too high, so it's very uncomfortable.
