Ball Head 18 (Short, Black) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Threaded Base Fails This Item 95% of this item is high quality except the threaded base—the surface that mates to your tripod or tripod head receiver grip accessory. The issue is a lack of friction, so that whatever base I attach it to, including a Leica table top tripod (see photo), the ball head slips. It will be necessary to either score the bottom, adhere a thin friction material membrane, or use thread lock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great small ball head I have the older model and there are some differences, like no reversing screw/thread for 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch threads, and the ball action is not quite as smooth as the older model but still the best in a small head, with a good weight capacity to size ratio.
