Sony SNC-EB632R Overview

The SNC-EB632R Full HD IR True Day/Night Outdoor PoE Bullet Network Camera from Sonyfeatures a 1/2.9" progressive scan Exmor CMOS sensor and 3 to 9mm built-in varifocal lens. The camera is capable of delivering high-quality images of 1920 x 1080 pixels @ 30 fps.

This multi-codec (H.264 & JPEG) camera comes with 3x optical and 4x digital zoom and supports multi-streaming. The camera comes with 20 built-in IR LED illuminators that assist it to capture clear images of objects in the dark, even under 0 lux, up to 98' (30m).

This camera features the IPELA ENGINE EX signal processing system that offers features such as View-DR, XDNR, and DEPA Advanced technologies. Power over Ethernet functionality enables you to power the camera via the same Ethernet cable that carries data, eliminating the need for an additional power supply and associated wiring. The camera comes in an IP66 rated water-resistant and dust-tight enclosure for installation outdoors or indoors in environments where water ingress may be possible.

Maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with the Exmor CMOS sensor
Wide dynamic range of 90 dB, achieved with View-DR technology
Minimum illumination of 0.1 lux in color mode at 50 IRE
Built-in IR (infrared) illuminators to help provide clear B/W images in the dark even under 0 lux, up to 98' (30m) away @ 50 IRE
Image stabilizer to help minimize the effect of camera shake or vibration
IP66-rated water-resistant and dust-tight feature for outdoor surveillance or indoor where water ingress may pose an issue
Operating temperature ranging from 22 to 122°F (-30 to 50°C)
IPELA ENGINE EX signal processing system developed based on Sony's signal processing and video analytics technologies to provide features such as View-DR, XDNR, and DEPA Advanced technologies
View-DR-Sony's wide dynamic range technology-to capture objects clearly and adaptively even under very harsh, severe backlight or highlight conditions
Visibility Enhancer (VE) technology optimizes contrast and makes a scene more visible; it is ideal for scenes where objects are hard to recognize due to severe back light or shadows
VE optimizes the brightness and color reproduction of an image dynamically on a pixel-by-pixel basis while continuously adapting to the scene
XDNR (eXcellent Dynamic Noise Reduction) technology for clear images with virtually no motion blur under lowlight conditions
DEPA Advanced Intelligent Video Analytics to trigger an alarm based on user-defined rules such as passing (virtual border)
Camera arm design allows you to easily install the camera and easily adjust the viewing angle
Easy Zoom/Easy Focus for easy installation
Easy initial network settings by supplied SNC Easy IP Setup Guide application
Power over Ethernet capability - IEEE 802.3af compliant
Advanced IR technology to provide high-quality IR images without overexposure, ensuring clear B/W images of close and distant objects
True D/N (Day/Night) function to switch to Day or Night mode depending on the light level
Picture mode feature allows you to easily adjust camera settings based on scene requirements
VBR (variable bitrate) capable of maximum bitrate setting or CBR (constant bitrate) compression mode selectable to correspond with various network conditions
Smartphone viewer to display an image of the camera on the smartphone's screen and control the camera's pan, tilt, and zoom functions by simple touch-panel manipulation
ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) Profile S conformance firmware that ensures greater interoperability and more flexibility in building multi-vendor systems
