The red walnut/maple veneer version of the Hammond 122XB-SE Leslie Rotary Speaker is specifically designed to work with the new more modern models of Hammond Organs that require a separate cabinet for sound reproduction and use the current 11-pin Leslie connector input. An adapter kit is available for older Hammond models.
To generate sound, the speaker uses a two-speed high-powered horn and a 15" woofer bass rotor with driven by a handcrafted 40W RMS vacuum tube amplifier. Level is adjusted with the master volume control and a power switch allows the speaker to be turned on and off. An optional interface panel is available (sold separately) that provides a 1/4" guitar cord input and a jack for foot switch.
