    Ubiquiti Networks Loco9 reviews

M900 Loco NanoStation 900 MHz 2x2 MIMO AirMax TDMA Station is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shoots through Trees! I previously tried a NanoStation 5M which was not successful. Although I was not trying to go but about 100 yards it was through a LOT of trees. I read on the forum that people were having good success with this model going through heavily wooded areas. I gave it a try and it works great! I highly recommend this model if you are going to wooded areas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Fast Wifi, Easy to install We set 2 of these up for a client recently. They had a remote building that they wanted to extend a computer and a network printer to. The distance was about 1000 feet away, so it was too far for Cat5 and fiber was too expensive. We mounted these on the buildings, configured them to be in a transparent bridge, as explained by a video from Ubiquiti on YouTube, and the transfer speeds we were getting were 150 Mbps. Ping times back to the other network were > 1 ms. Overall the time to install was less than 1 hour. If you will be mounting outside on a pole, be sure to use the correct cable. We used the Ubiquity TouchCable Outdoor shielded cable and it was very good to work with. Make sure you ground the cable on the correct connectors as well, or you will have issues with lightning. We highly recommend these devices when wanting to extend a LAN to another building. We will be testing these devices with a few other clients to see what range we can get in a less than optimal point to point situation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb access points Ubiquiti outdoes the competition at a better price once again. These APs are ideal for the WhyFi shot I needed to an outbuilding with a less than ideal non-LOS path. Rock solid performance and excellent signal 24x7, unlike the competitors product that was used prior.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You can be your own ISP This is the second Ubiquiti bridge we've built- and I'm not sure which works better- because they BOTH kick butt. We get our internet via a point to point system already. Fast up and down- without having to work with Charter/Spectrum/TimeWarner etc. But my house is across the street from my office- and I didn't want to pay twice- plus- having an internal network link means no VPN needed when working at home. We got the cheaper 5ghz Ubiquiti set up- and are beaming through a double thick brick wall- to a house about a football field away- through a wood frame. 5 bars- and a booming signal- I then run to a switch- and have a separate access point. This system was bought to go from my AirBnB to a friends house- which is about the same distance- but has another house in the way. We couldn't get a good line of sight signal from the ISP to his house. The ISP said I'd have to go 900 MHZ to do it- so I took his word. Hooked them up yesterday- and BOOM- 5 bars- and decent speeds. Easy to set up- and so far so good. Ubiquiti makes good stuff. The crazy thing is - how many ISPs do you know that would not only allow you to do this- but- actually help?
