    BenQ GW2765HT reviews

    GW2765HT 27" 16:9 IPS Monitor is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 116.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor I bought this for photo editing. I did calibrate it with a Spyder Pro, but the result was almost identical to the factory calibration. The panel seems great, with great color reproduction, etc. If you need it to overcome bright lighting, the monitor can be very bright (and is set that way out of the box). During calibration, I lowered it to about 30% or so of its full brightness. The stand is as good as any I've used, with pivot, rotation and height adjustment. It came with plenty of display cables, which is a nice touch. I have it running at its native/highest resolution over HDMI, though that may depend on your video card.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so Great Gaming and surfing are now fantastic with this big plank. Almost too big and the colors are sweet. My first IPS screen and I can see how some do not like the corners being slightly brighter than the middle of the field. Only really noticeable with a dark scene but the rest of the time, no prob. Not worried about that and love the depth of color and size of the screen. No tearing from low frame rates noticed so gaming not impacted as feared. Def worth the money. Quick shipping and great pricing. One thing that I would say is weird is sometimes the monitor does not come on after sleep mode and have to restart computer but not sure which is culprit. Pretty rare anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for multitasking I use this monitor in my home office. In the past, I used two screens -- one on a laptop and one portrait oriented LCD -- for my work. This caused awkward ergonomics and a lot of wasted desk space. This monitor allows me to put all my work on one screen right in front of me. The higher resolution is a nice feature and the color rendition is excellent in SRGB mode. I saw only some change in brightness when I calibrated it. The modes that dim the amount of blue in the screen are also useful for staring at lots of white for a long time, such as word processing. Overall I think this monitor is an outstanding value for my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice, really adjustable monitor I'm using this for software development and gaming. I don't feel like I could have made a better choice on this one. The value for the money here is fantastic. Colors seem great after a quick calibration, everything is nice and sharp with 109 PPI, and there's so much more room for activities at 2560x1440! Best parts: color reproduction, resolution, response time, adjustability. Worst part: has pretty stiff buttons for power and menu navigation, so you have to sort of pinch the monitor on the bezel where the buttons are, which gets finger prints all over it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow This is my first new monitor in about 10 years. I did so much research and went back and forth between 16:9 and 16:10 ratios: 1920x1080, 1920x1200, 2560x1440. I'm so glad I went with 1440p. The panel in this monitor is so nice. I'm sure the Dell rival to this is nice as well. I just can't imagine it's worth the extra cost over this one. There are calibration settings out there that you can use to get the best color and such for this guy. When I bring this sucker to LAN parties, people can't believe how nice it looks. I'm gaming on this guy with a GTX 970. So far, everything runs fantastic. No regrets. I would recommend this thing to anybody who asks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This monitor is amazing value If you want 2560x1440 with great color and respectable gaming performance, you should stop looking and just buy this thing. I'm a software developer using this monitor for work at home as well as gaming. It has the space that I want for developing as well as the response and colors that I want for gaming. On top of being a great price for the monitor that you get, there are published settings on the internet to which to calibrate this monitor so that you don't need to buy a calibration tool. The only down side that I can think of is that the buttons are on the back of the monitor. I got used to that after a week of use and you will too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ordered two both came in defected... The first monitor I ordered came in with severe back light bleeding, it must've been from improper packaging from B&H. The second monitor came in with dead pixels, also the packaging was damaged and the reason the monitor came defected most likely was from improper packaging. The live chat representatives offered no compensation for my time and money wasted, instead they kept copy and pasting Is there anything else we can help you with?. Overall B&H is in my poo list now. Probably never going to shop here again. Last note, the $60 e gift card that they're offering is a trap, once you get the e gift card, you're most likely not going to be able to return the monitor if it comes in defected. BEWARE, DON'T BUY THIS MONITOR FROM B&H!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful Display with only Minor Cavaets This display is amazing. The resolution is perfect for my needs (software development and project management) and the monitor's performance is fantastic. Images are bright and beautiful. Text is clear and crisp. I like the low blue light mode for office work to make the burning white background of most office color themes tolerable. Only two small caveats 1. The monitor takes longer than usual to wake from power off. 3+ seconds. I'm used to 1 sec. 2. The anti-glare coating works well, but not as well as some of the dell monitors I've used. I've heard this may be challenging for any display above or equal to 1920x1080 res.
