A compact wide-angle prime with intuitive handling and an advanced optical design, the black M.Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2 from Olympus is a 24mm equivalent lens for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. The wide focal length pairs with the bright f/2 maximum aperture to benefit available light shooting as well as astrophotography applications. The lens's optical design makes use of one aspherical element, one DSA (Double Super Aspherical) element, and a Super HR (high refractive index) element to reduce spherical aberrations and control distortion for notable sharpness, and one extra-low dispersion element reduces color fringing for high clarity and color accuracy. Additionally, the lens is characterized by its Movie & Still Compatible autofocus system for quick and quiet performance, as well as a manual focus clutch and Snapshot Focus mode for intuitive control over focus position and depth of field.

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2 Reviews
great little lens
Just got this lens today, already really happy with it! It's sharp and I love the focus ring. I've already taken a bunch of test shots and am very excited to use it more!!
Excellent Product, Price, Serv
This 12mm on MFT opens new perspectives. Great quality.
wide angle lens
what a fabulous lens! photos are crystal clear and bright
A nice, small lens
I need a small wide-angle and this fits my needs. So far with focus peaking and quick manual/automatic shift I have not seen any of the soft focus some have complained of, and the compact size of the lens makes it a natural addition for travel. I have not put the weather-sealing to the test yet.
Sharp!
Thanks B&H for always having what I need, when I need it!
Great lens for my X5 OSMO.
I purchased this lens to use with my X5 Osmo Pro. Lens is sharp and feels durable. It gave me the extra field of view I needed compared to the stock DJI lens. I'm happy with the purchase, but was bummed to find out that a lens hood is not included. You have to purchase the hood separately. For the price I paid it should be included.
Excellent All Around Lens
I have used this lens for interior real estate photography as well as for underwater photography. It performs spectacularly in both environments. This rounds out my Olympus primes of 17 mm, 25mm and 45 mm. This lens is sharp from corner to corner and I do not notice any vignetting around the edges even when being shot wide open. This is a lens that you can use hyper focal techniques and it doesn't miss. The build quality is excellent and very solid. I especially like the focus slide ring on this as well as on the 17 mm. It is an excellent lens to round out the series of Olympus primes.
12mm Great little lens
Don't know why I waited so long. For the longest time I read varying reports. Since several of the M.Zuiko telephoto line up starts at 12mm I wasn't in a hurry. I have the other primes just not the 12 mm. I am using it with the EM1Mk3 and my old EM5 Mk2 and is a perfect lowlight walk around lens combination. Great landscape and street lens. IQ is very sharp. There was a brief sale and picked it up at a great price. Highly recommended.
