The Nikon F-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera Speed Booster ULTRA from Metabones improves upon the original Metabones Speed Booster with a 5 element/4 group optical design that incorporates ultra-high refractive index tantalum-based glass for improved sharpness and reduced distortion and vignetting. The Speed Booster ULTRA allows a full frame Nikon F-Mount lens to be mounted to an APS-C format E-Mount camera and in doing so, increases the angle of view and increases the maximum aperture by approximately one f/stop. It is compatible with NIKKOR F mount and F Mount G lenses including AI and non-AI mounts.

When a lens intended for full frame sensors or 35mm film is mounted to a camera with an APS-C sized sensor, it transmits a larger area of light than the smaller sensor was built to accept and therefore the effective angle of view of the lens decreases. The Speed Booster condenses light from the lens and projects it onto the APS-C sensor allowing the sensor to utilize all of the lens' light and effectively reduces the crop factor of and APS-C E-Mount camera from 1.5x to 1.07x, producing a full-frame angle of view with an APS-C sensor. A corresponding increase in the maximum aperture of one f/stop makes the lens more effective in low-light situations and able to create a shallow depth of field. 

Metabones Speed Boosters are quality made using precision-machined brass with chromium plating on both the camera body and the lens side of the booster in order to ensure smooth mounting, quality aesthetic, and durability. This adapter has a detachable tripod foot that is compatible with Arca Swiss, Markins, and Photo Clam ball heads.

Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm (AE metering), or other auto functions are not retained using this speed booster. A built-in clickless aperture control ring enables manual control of aperture from the speed booster. This 8-stop ring with clearly marked 1/2-stop markings is shipped as clickless. These speed boosters are only fully compatible with mirrorless cameras housing APS-C or smaller image sensors. They will physically fit the Sony full frame mirrorless cameras, but the camera must be set in Crop Mode to fully support the speed booster's functions.

Allows a full frame Nikon F-Mount lens to be mounted to an E-mount APS-C format camera and in doing so, increases the angle of view and increases the maximum aperture by one f/stop.
The Speed Booster ULTRA design incorporates ultra-high index tantalum-based optical glass for enhanced optical performance with improved corner sharpness and reduced distortion and vignetting. This glass technology and optical design perform extremely well with professional-grade f/2.8 zoom lenses and high-speed fixed focal length lenses such as a 50mm f/1.2 which will perform as a 35.5mm f/0.9 lens with high contrast and resolution from the center to the edges of the image.
Precise fit and solid connection - lens has no play, gap or wiggling when mounted on speed booster and no adjustments are required to fit your lens. Both the camera-side and the lens-side of the speed booster are made of brass which is precision-machined and chrome-plated.
The Speed Booster uses matte-black treatment to keep internal reflection to a minimum in order to maintain the maximum optical quality possible with the lens. The exterior features a black satin surface finish.
A built-in clickless aperture control ring enables manual control of aperture from the speed booster. This 8-stop ring with clearly marked 1/2-stop markings is shipped as clickless.
The speed booster is compatible with NIKKOR F mount and F Mount G lenses including AI and non-AI mounts.
Designed to reach infinity focus while maintaining the correct registration distance required to maintain optical quality of CRC lenses or lenses with floating elements.
The speed booster features a detachable tripod foot which is compatible with Arca Swiss, Markins, Photo Clam ball heads.
Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm (AE metering), or other auto functions are not retained using this speed booster.

No, the Metabones Nikon F-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera Speed Booster ULTRA, is an adapter for using E mount lenses on "cropped sensor" camera bodies like the Sony "NEX", or the Alpha A5000, and A6000 series cameras.

Sorry, no. This adapter has no electronic connection between the lens and the camera therefore no auto focus or auto exposure is possible.

I see the correction you made but that still is not the correct adapter.This will work on your camera with the Nikon AF lenses, Metabones Nikon G Lens to Sony NEX Camera Lens Mount Adapter (Matte Black) B&H # MENFGEBM1 MFR # MB_NFG-E-BM1.

No, that adapter is for Sony APS-C, E mount cameras. The Sony a7r II is full frame.And it is best that you come into chat or call us to discuss this further.

In reference to my question about this adapter I made an error instead of Sony A77 and A99 ii. Suppose to be Sony a6000, Sony a6500 and Sony a7R ii. for Sigma 800mm F-mount with AF? If not what adapter do you suggest for this cameras with an AF? Thanks.

It is important to understand that one would use the Metabones Nikon F-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera Speed Booster ULTRA when using the Nikon F mount lens on an ASPS-C size sensor found on the A6000, A6300, A6400, A6500, but not on a Full Frame camera like Sony A7RII. Investigating whether this would work with Sony FS5 II and Nikon 500mm f/4 lens or perhaps Nikon 200-400mm f/4. Would I be able to control aperture? Not worried about AF.

The Metabones Nikon F-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera Speed Booster ULTRA will mount onto the Nikon 500mm f/4, or the 200-400mm f/4, but one would not be able to receive electronic control of the lens aperture or auto focus when one is connected to the Sony FS5 II.

i Have sigma lenses for a nikon dx cam, that lenses make vignette effect in nikon fx cam. 1.) does this lens work whith the metabone 2) does it make vignette, because the metabone incrase the crop factor

While you could use a DX format lens with the Speed Boosters, there would be significant vignetting when used with the Speed Booster on an E-mount camera.

This adapter is meant for any Nikon F mount lens to be mounted on any E-Mount camera. We know of no reports that have claimed incompatibility with Metabones and Sigma.
