GoPro Fetch overview

  • 1Description

You are no longer limited to capturing from a human's perspective, with the GoPro Fetch you can shoot from a dog's POV too. The harness features two mounting locations, enabling you to choose what works best. One is up top, over the back, and is ideal for over-the-head shots of running, jumping, fetching, and more. The other places the camera below the chest and is perhaps best for bone-chewing, digging, and front-paw action. The all-weather design is safe to get wet and fully washable. It can be adjusted to fit most size dogs.

Note: Not intended for walking or restraining your dog. Never leave dog unattended wearing Fetch.

Fully adjustable to fit dogs from 15 to 120 lb
Chest mount is removable to accommodate smaller dogs
Padded at all adjustment points to help ensure your pet's comfort
Washable, water-friendly material holds up to swimming, splashing, mud and more
Quick release bases allow you to place and remove the camera without having to unscrew
Includes a camera tether to further secure your GoPro
Fetch uses the standard, "shoe" style interface that is part of the Quick Release Buckle system included with most GoPro housings and frames and also available separately

    GoPro Fetch reviews

Fetch is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good Love this doggie harness. Easily switches between two similar sized but different shaped dogs. (Tried a different brand, could not make it small enough) Goes on quick and easy, easily adjustable. On my skinny dog, it tends to tilt about 15, giving an odd view of the world. Have trouble getting the camera mount to snap into the holder, but hasn't moved yet. Wiggles some when the dogs run or shake (hang on to the table), but very stable when walking or swimming. Seems to dry quickly. Using a non-goPRo camera, but still works well. Now I just need my dogs to do more interesting stuff.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not For Extreme Use Used this mount in Argentina on a wild boar hunt. Two dogs outfitted with Orris leather/nylon chest mounts, the third with this GoPro mount, also placed on chest. Within two minutes the GoPro mount, along with my camera, were lost forever in the tangled brush of La Pampa. Shot the rest of the week with other mounts without incident or loss. The difference? The GoPro mount uses elastic between the top and chest mounts. With the strength of a hound tearing through the brush in pursuit, the elastic stretched and the dog simply ran out of the harness, leaving my 4 Black in oblivion. If you are walking your dog on a leash in the park, I am sure this product would be more than adequate. But if your dog is working without direct observation, this mount could cost you $$. It did me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from See where your dog goes! I got this for my dog, I liked the idea of seeing what he does when he has it on. So here is the review: Pros: 1) Works for all/most dogs 2) Has lots of play 3) 2 places to attach the go pro. 4) Safety harness for the go pro. Cons: 1) For my dog, the camera kept moving to one side. 2) Hard to keep straps tight 3) Although it works for a 23 lb dog, its probably better for a larger dog. I've used it once so far, I doubt I'll use it much. Buy it for a lark, but unless you do lots of Go Pro videos, not really a much used product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, not great Nice shots from dogs POV. Our dog is smaller, though, around 25 lbs with a thin frame and I haven't gotten the harness to stay securely yet. It slides a bit and needs to be adjusted often. I think, though, that if I tighten it a bit more and fit it more snugly it may stay better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay at best, not so great at worst Perhaps it's because my dog is large and powerful, a Dogue de Bordeaux, weighs 130 pounds, and runs after his ball like a freight train on a downhill section of track, but the camera shakes like a person with bad tremors as the straps are too stretchy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fetch This This was my one impulse purchase in my go pro buying spree. I finally got it on the dog and the results are hilarious. It's much more stable than I expected. I'd highly recommend this if you have a medium to large dog.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dog likes it I have a 6 month old lab/shepard mix who is currently about 35 pounds. Fits great and only took her about 5 minutes to get use to. Have a mount on both the back and the chest of the dog is a great feature

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! The harness fit my 90 lb pitbull perfectly! It's stays securely fastened and easily adjusts. It's so cool to see the world from his perspective :)
