question

Are the cameras waterproof? I want to use them on a motorbike
Asked by: Anonymous
I would not expose the camera to outside elements. The camera would have to be mounted in a protective housing similar to equipment used by divers to protect from the outside elements.

question

What does it mean by it starting recording on impact shouldn't it be recording well before an impact to save the video that caused the impact? More than just 5 sec before.
Asked by: Michael L.
t should say thar keep everything recorded before an impact. As son as you turn on your car switch starts to record and keeps images and sound for your convenience in case you need something real about what happened. Thanks a lot.

question

I need to know if I can use this camera as a parking surveillance camera. With the car turned OFF will the camera record motion if plugged into a cigarette lighter? I have a problem with vandalism of my trucks and need a camera that would be covert and work from inside looking out through the windshield. Any suggestions?
Asked by: ANTHONY c.
The camera turns off a minute or so after you turn off your car. If you want to use it as a surveillance camera, it does have a movement detector, but you will have to hardwire it to your car so that it taps directly from your car battery power.

question

how does the rear camera get power, is there a separate cigarette lighter plug and cable for each camera or is it 2 cables going to one plug? any extra info would be appreciated.
Asked by: Phillip T.
hi, the rear camera gets its power from the front camera. a long cable runs from the rear cam going to the front cam and a separate cable from plugged in the front cam runs through your cigarette lighter plug. it's daisy-chained so that there's only one plug powering both cameras from the cigar lighter. hope this helps.

question

Hello, How is this camera is mounted exactly?
Asked by: Anonymous
There's included adhesive tape that is used to stick the mount directly to the front and rear window. The mounts are designed to be left on the window.
