question

Is this monitor compatible with a Mac pro 2010?
Asked by: Anonymous
The question was about a mac Pro, not a macBook Pro. Yes the 32 4K Benq can work with a 2010 5,1 mac Pro, provided your graphics card supports it. I'm using the DP port of a GTX 680 card in a 5,1 type mac Pro to drive a BL3201B at 60Hz on the mini DP port.

question

What is the difference between this monitor and the much more expensive BenQ PV3200PT 32 16:9 4K? They seem to have the same specs...
Asked by: John
The biggest difference is color quality. The PV3200PT supports hardware calibration, a 14-bit LUT, and 100% Rec 709 color space coverage. The BL is made more for CAD/CAM work while this is aimed more at video editing.

question

Is this an 8-bit or 10-bit panel?
Asked by: Joel D.
y research on this monitor indicated that it is a 10-bit panel. So far the panel is doing everything I need. I can have two full page documents open side by side and the text is very readable. There are less head and mouse movements than when I used two monitors.

question

All my programs now have tiny graphics and icons at max resolution recommended for the Monitor. Tried various scalings but only changes the text not graphics unless I go lower resolution then defeats point of getting a high res monitor?? Anyone know how to fix this?
Asked by: Rosanna
Hi Rosanna, I experienced the same problem like you. To solve the problem try changing the icon size, what window are you using? Did the computer regonized your graphic card, or are you using integrated graphic card which mean built in on board with motherboard. Right click on desktop then go to personalize change the icon and window size? Let me know if that help you solve the issue.
