The PD-PoE 1-Port High Power PoE Extender from Microsemi is used to extend your Ethernet network range an additional 328' by acting as a pass-through device with data-repeating capabilities. The extender has both a PD and a PSE chip inside which makes it capable of reliably transmitting both data and power to network devices such as WLAN access points and network cameras.
The transmission is possible for up to a distance of 656' while complying with IEEE PoE and data standards. Four Microsemi PoE extenders can be cascaded to reach up to 1640' from the closest datacenter or network, so you can easily install WLAN APs, IP cameras, and access controllers where you need them. It supports 10/100/1000 Mb/s data rates and delivers 802.3at power levels up to 25.5W. The PoE extender does not require local power since it is directly powered via the PoE input.
