Key Features
  • Accepts INSTAX Mini Instant Film
  • Produces Credit Card-Sized Prints
  • FUJINON 60mm f/12.7 Lens
  • Optical Viewfinder with Target Spot
Despite its traditional appearance, the brown INSTAX Mini 90 Neo Classic from FUJIFILM is a sleek and modern instant film camera offering versatile shooting capabilities for producing credit card-sized prints. Its sleek design features a fixed 60mm f/12.7 lens, which offers zone focusing settings with a dedicated macro position for working with subjects as close as 11.8" away. The optical window finder has a target spot for lining up subjects along with parallax adjustment guides when shooting at close range. A flash is incorporated into the design and has automatic exposure adjustment as well as a red-eye reduction setting. Party mode makes use of the flash's bright output, along with extended exposure times, to help bring out more detail in the background of shots. Dedicated Kids and Landscape modes are also tailored to specific subject types or you can choose to work manually with exposure compensation adjustment for brightening or darkening subjects. For even more creative shooting, double exposure and bulb modes can be used, and an integrated tripod mount helps to steady long exposures. The camera's design also incorporates an LCD to highlight the number of frames remaining, as well as the shooting mode; a mode dial surrounds the lens for intuitive settings selection; and the camera accepts a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which provides enough power for approximately 10 packs of film per charge.

question

How does the bulb feature work? Do you have to physically hold down or can you use the timer or a cable release?
Asked by: Sharon H.
Unfortunately, there is no cable release designed for use with the Fujifilm INSTAX Mini 90 Neo Camera. To use the BULB mode, you would have to physically hold the shutter button down. When using the BULB mode, the maximum shutter time the camera will be open is ten (10) seconds.

Is the Fujinon 60mm lens in this camera made of glass or plastic?
Asked by: Michael
Not 100%, but I think it’s all plastic. Most all instant film cameras are super cheaply made. I’ve owned this one, Polaroid one shot, and Sx-70. If you want quality, pay a little extra for the SX-70. It’s slightly heavier but that’s because it will actually last and not fall to pieces the first time you bump it against something.
