question

Does the tran & receiver triggers work with Nikon cameras
Asked by: Thomas G.
Yes, the Bolt Remote Transmitter for Bolt Flashes and the Bolt RR-16-A Remote Flash Receiver may be used to wirelessly trigger the Bolt VB-11 Bare-Bulb Flash and Accessory Kit from a Nikon DSLR camera. Do note that this flash is fully manual, so it will not have i-TTL automatic exposure capabilities; you would have to set the flash output power manually.

Can't say for sure about using with Pocket Wizard, but it works just fine with Cactus V5 transceivers, so I'm guessing the answer is yes.

question

any problem about overheat in the battery??
Asked by: Emilio C.
I can't say it will never happen, but I have not had any such problems to date even when shooting several hundred full power shots at a wedding. It's perhaps relevant that I always use the doubler cable so I'm powering the flash from both halves of the battery.

question

Can this flash be used on a Hasselblad 500CM medium format film camera?
Asked by: Alvin
I haven't used that specific camera, but this light should be compatible with any camera that has a hotshoe mount. I'd recommend using the sender/receiver units that communicate with the light though, instead of having it directly mounted on the camera, as this unit is pretty heavy and draws power from an external battery unit.
