Recognizable by its truly thin profile, along with an advanced autofocus motor, the EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM from Canon is a 38.4mm-equivalent prime designed for APS-C-format DSLRs. Its optical design features one aspherical element, which helps to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations for high sharpness and clarity. A Super Spectra coating has also been applied, which helps to minimize lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity in bright lighting conditions. Additionally, benefitting both photo and video applications, an STM stepping AF motor is used to realize quick, accurate, and near-silent autofocus performance.

Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM Reviews
Excelent
The product is excelect
Pick one up before they stop making them
I use mine adapted to a Fuji. It's a sleek street monster.
Great upgrade from kit lens
Bought this lens to do some night videography and photography and I'm very pleased with the performance. Auto focus is a little slow for video but I prefer using manual anyway. Would recommend.
good but wide
got this specifically to take workout videos. once i figured out all the settings, it works like a charm. only con is it films in wide screen, so i can see on the camera a full screen, but some of that is cut off
Lens is great but beware if you buy used
I bought a used version of this lens, it came in perfect condition. In my T7i I prefer this lens over the 50mm f1.8 STM because it's more versatile for indoor photography as well has an excellent optical quality. It's not good for Bokeh unless you do macro photography but for landscape, group photos, and indoor parties this lens is great. I love that it's not intimidating to others like the 18-135mm I often use, people has this more relaxed look in them as if were a photo to be taken with a cell phone rather than the usual I have to pose like a model because it's a camera look they do with the bigger lenses. The 2.8 aperture is great for indoor conditions. The only downside is that the lens came with a Nikon cap so that was less than ideal, I would had paid the full price if I knew this beforehand.
Perfect
Just perfect.
Excellent on Fuji X-T4 with Fringer adapter
Extremely sharp. Autofocus works perfectly. Including the Fringer EF-FX PR II adapter, this is no bigger or heavier on a Fuji camera than Fuji's XF 23mm f/2 lens by itself, and for the price, you could buy both this AND the Fringer.
A nice lens .......
Does what I wanted it to do ...........
