question

Does it also work with Canon 5D MK III?
Asked by: Anonymous
The older WFT-E7A (the one sold to the version 2 - which had no version number in its name) can be used with models other than the 5D Mark III by updating the firmware and using the correct cable to connect to cameras with USB 3.0 Micro B sockets. Canon has issued several advisories for the WFT-E7A giving notice of firmware updates that allow it to be used with the 7D Mark II, 5Ds, 5D Mark IV, and EOS R when the appropriate cable is used.
