General Features

Up to 90 MB/s Write Speed for Burst-Mode Performance
With write speeds up to 90 MB/s (600x) and read speeds up to 95 MB/s (633x), this card exploits your DSLR's potential for continuous burst-mode shooting. Engineered with Ultra High Speed (UHS-I) bus architecture, it is designed to meet and exceed rigorous performance standards.
512GB for Uninterrupted Video Capture at UHS Speed Class 3 (U3)
This UHS-I card has a capacity of 512GB and delivers write speeds of up to 90 MB/s UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) recording speed for high resolution, real-world color and stutter-free 4K Ultra HD video from your DSLR, advanced digital, or HD video camera. Additionally, this card's capacity means you can shoot for longer periods of time.
4K Ultra HD Ready

    SanDisk 512GB UHS-I SDXC reviews

512GB Extreme PRO UHS-I SDXC Memory Card is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for special uses Very pricey but this is the only internal storage solution that lets you shoot 12 continuous hours of 4k 100Mbit/s video. I've been using it with a Panasonic GH4 for an unusual project where I need exactly that capability, and this SD card has been pulling it off without a hiccup so far.But there are much less expensive storage solutions for most other circumstances.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get it for size Disclaimer: I think any evaluation of a memory card must consider the device in which it's used. Therefore, my evaluation will be particular to the camera I use with it - the EOS 5Diii. The logic here may or may not apply to other cameras. The 5Diii supports both CF and SD cards. CF cards are faster than SD cards. The fastest SD cards today comply with the UHS standard, but have write speeds only about half of that for the fastest CF cards. On the other hand, the largest CF cards have only half the capacity of the largest SD cards. It's a trade-off; greater capacity in exchange for slower write speed. First the bad news: Within the context of the 5Diii camera, the speed v. capacity tradeoff is far worse than the 2:1 disadvantage of the CF v. SD cards by themselves. This is due to Canon's choice not to incorporate the UHS standard in the design of the 5Diii. While Canon has not posted figures, credible estimates put the write rate for the SD card at approximately 20 MB/sec*, or about 22% of this SD card's rated write speed. In other words, you're paying for a lot of speed that you can't use in the 5Diii. Note: In this review B=bytes, b=bits, and 1B=8b But there's good news, too. The Digic 5+ processor in the 5Diii incorporates a large high-speed buffer between the sensor and the flash card(s). This buffer serves to mitigate the impact of the slow write speed on overall camera performance. Until the buffer is filled up, the 5Diii will shoot at the rated 6 frames per sec using this SD card (or in fact any SD card). However, once the buffer is filled things will slow down considerably. For my purposes (and the purposes of this review), this reduced speed has no effect on anything I do. However, if I were to take up sports or action photography, the speed limits of the SD media might be unacceptable. In either case, since the bottleneck is in the camera design, it's not a fault we can charge off to the SD card itself. More good news for video shooters: For shooting video there don't seem to be any tradeoffs. My testing has been limited so far, but several online sources report the SD channel is fast enough to support all the 5Diii's video modes. Half a terabyte of capacity in a single card is valuable to me. That's in the range of 20,000 RAW images, and it seems unlikely that I'd ever be required to make a card change in the field where loss and damage are most likely. * Ref seamusdemora blog at wordpress for references.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from memory plus. Using it as Memory expander for Macbook Air.. Formatted it (single partition) prior to use and it worked without issue. it seems as fast as the inbuilt memory of the Macbook. The reason i used SD card, is for portability.. i leave it in there and it fits in my carry case... Delivery from BH was rapid and without fuss.. great product, good service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Product! I use this for media recording in my Panasonic AG-DVX200 and it has never let me down. I don't need the expense and hassle of a P2 card, so SD storage was a great option. The speed of these cards both reading and writing has been instrumental in the success of our EFP operation

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been waiting for this size of SD Card. Love it! Super impressed with B&H. Great product, fast shipping and great service. I live in Canada and typically the duties, taxes, shipping costs etc. make bringing things into the country a real pain. B&H took care of everything and the item arrived at my door with no pain or headaches! Thank you!!!
