Sorry to be a jerk, but which is it? Is this lens internal zoom, or not? Troubling that contradictory answers are allowed to be posted; there was an answer saying internal the other day by Staff but it has been deleted. This is an expensive lens. Do either of the authors of these answers actually own this lens? B&H, Staff said it was internal zooming. Can you confirm?

Does this lens mate with SL camera?

Does this lens mate with SL camera?
Asked by: ROBERT
Absolutely! Any L mount lens will mount on the SL series cameras. The T series L mount lenses are designed for the APS-C sensor format so when mounted on the full frame sensor SL cameras, the sensor will automatically crop down to APS-C format vs. utilizing the full frame sensor. It will still produce an excellent image.
