The MAGPIE2-2 Atlas Learn Dual Magpie Wireless Microphone System from Atlas Sound is a wireless IR microphone system designed to amplify the educator's voice in a classroom. This system includes two wireless IR Magpie microphones, one Magpie-Nest charging station, two IR dome sensors, and one AL-2430 receiver-amplifier.

  • AL MAGPIE Wireless Infrared Microphone/ Transmitter

    The AL-MAGPIE Wireless Infrared Microphone/Transmitter by Atlas Sound is for capturing audio in sound reinforcement. It is designed for use in higher education facilities, or where a room constrained public address systems is required. When used in conjunction with the AL-2430 amplifier/receiver (sold separately), it allows the teacher and students to walk freely around the room with the infrared microphones/system control units, and project their voices through installed speakers.

    The AL-MAGPIE microphone performs the functions of a wireless microphone and a system remote control. Each wireless microphone has a volume control for adjusting the volume of that microphone relative to the user's voice allowing it to be adjusted up or down so that the speaker can be clearly heard and understood. Each AL-MAGPIE can be set to either A or B. One AL-MAGPIE must be set to Channel A and the other AL-MAGPIE must be set to Channel B. The MAGPIE includes Mode, Volume, and Panic controls that are fully functional in teacher mode, but will be locked out when configured for student mode. A rechargeable battery is included.

    The AL-MAGPIE-NEST Charging Station by Atlas Sound is for charging the AL-MAGPIE wireless infrared microphones. It can be used as a low profile charging system that is designed to be desk or shelf mounted for easy access. The unit can charge up to two AL-MAGPIE wireless microphones at the same time. Charging status is indicated by the LED located next to each charging position. Red indicates that the unit is charging and green indicates the unit is fully charged and ready to be used. AL-MAGPIE-NEST includes the charging station and power supply. AL-MAGPIE microphones are sold separately.

  • AL-IRDS IR Dome Sensor for AL2430 Atlas Learn System

    The AL-IRDS from Atlas Sound is an infrared dome sensor designed for use with the AL2430 Atlas Learn receiver/amplifier. A pair of domes are included with the AL2430 system, but up to 3 domes may be utilized. This product allows you to add a third dome to your AL2430. The dome offers a 150' receiving range with a 120° receiving angle.

    Note: You must already have an AL2430 system to use this product.

  • AL2430 Integrated Infrared Receiver and System Amplifier

    The AL2430 Atlas Learn Integrated Infrared Receiver and System Amplifier by Atlas Sound is for in-classroom sound reinforcement. It is designed for use in K-12 and higher education facilities, or where a room constrained public address system is required. This amplifier/receiver is designed to work with Atlas Learn wireless infrared microphones, AL-MAGPIE and AL-MYNA, (sold separately), to allow teachers and students to walk freely around the room with the infrared microphones / system control units and project their voices through installed speakers.

    The front of the AL2430 unit features a main power switch as well as volume controls for two microphones (A and B), as well as four other external audio sources like Computer, TV, CD, or Auxiliary audio. The rear panel of the AL2430 has connections and adjustments needed to set up the Atlas Learn system in any size classroom. The AL2430 can support up to three infrared (IR) domes (sold separately) that receive the signal from the wireless microphones and transmit that signal back to the amplifier for playing through speakers in the classroom.

    Additionally the AL2430 has equalization adjustments for the microphones to optimize their sound quality, a priority page input that allows the local audio to be overridden when a page is initiated by the administration, and a line output for connection to an external amplifier, recording device, or hearing assistance system based on the classroom requirements. The versatility of the AL2430 receiver/amplifier makes it a high quality classroom amplification system.
