The 6-channel DX6i 6-Channel DSMX Transmitter with AR610 Receiver from Spektrum is a wireless radio remote-control system for RC airplanes and helicopters. It includes the DX6i 6-Channel DSMX Transmitter and the AR610 DSMX Receiver. The full-range DSMX transmitter is suitable for controlling Bind-n-Fly aircraft and is compatible with most DSM2 and DSMX receivers. It features memory to store programming for up to ten models. Its controller comes pre-set to mode 2 configuration, the more common mode in the US, but can be switched to mode 1.
The AR610 is a full-range DSMX receiver for small to .90 sized RC sport planes that features an amplified antenna for greater signal clarity, 2048 resolution, and QuickConnect technology with Brownout Detection. It is telemetry compatible and supports Spektrum's optional Flight Log module for tracking RF link performance.

DX6i 6-Channel DSMX Transmitter (TX) for RC Aircraft
The DX6i 6-Channel DSMX Transmitter (TX) for RC Aircraft from Spektrum is a 6-channel, full-range DSMX transmitter (TX) for RC airplanes and helicopters that is compatible with most DSM2 and DSMX receivers (RX), and is suitable for controlling Bind-n-Fly (BNF) collections. It features memory to store programming for up to ten models.
This controller comes set to Mode 2 configuration, however can be switched to Mode 1. Mode 2 is considered the most popular controller configuration as it is designed to recreate the feel of flying a real aircraft. In Mode 2, roll and pitch are controlled with the pilot's right hand while yaw and throttle are controlled with the pilot's left hand.
Note: The DX6i is not compatible with the Spektrum AR6000 or BR6000 receivers.
Wideband DSMX Technology
Spektrum DSMX was developed as a solution to mitigate the risk of interference caused by the proliferation of devices operating on the 2.4 GHz band. Where both the transmitter and receiver support DSMX, a combination of a wideband signal and frequency shifting allows over 40 transmitters to be used simultaneously

Full-Range DSMX Receiver
DSMX operates on the 2.4GHz band and combines superior data capacity and interference resistance of a wideband signal with the agility of frequency shifts. This makes DSMX less likely to suffer significant data loss from on-channel interference, resulting is quicker connection times and superior response in crowded 2.4GHz environments. DSMX technology is active only when both transmitter and receiver are DSMX enabled. The AR610 will also work with existing DSM2 enabled transmitters.
QuickConnect with Brownout Detection
QuickConnect technology allows your receiver to recover instantly from a power interruption. Brownout Detection, available only is DSM2 mode, flashes the receiver's LED to let you know that a power has interruption occurred.
Prevents the possibility of operating a model using the wrong model memory, potentially preventing a crash. With ModelMatch, each model memory has its own unique code (GUID) and, during the binding process, the code is programmed into the receiver. Later, when the system is turned on, the receiver will only connect to the transmitter if the corresponding model memory is programmed onscreen.
