The blue Withings Pulse 02 Activity Tracker can help you be more active and improve your health. During the day it captures steps, distance walked, elevation climbed and calories burned. At night, it monitors your sleeping cycles. It's also capable of measuring your heart rate and blood oxygen level, shown via four LEDs. The Pulse O2 stores data for up to 10 days, so you can see your history and how you've improved, or where you could improve in order to better your overall health. The tracker works with a free iOS/Android app and connects wirelessly to your mobile device. Both a clip and wristband are included for versatile wearing styles both day and night. Plus, it runs on a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts for up to two weeks on a charge.
Track Your Activity
Tracking your steps lets you know where you stand and see how fast you're progressing. The Pulse 02 also tracks elevation climbed actively, distance traveled, and displays your active calories
Analyze your running in real-time - when you are jogging, pressing the button once will bring show you your duration and distance
The Pulse O2 is able to measure your heart rate. It lets you check your heartbeat rate on any occasion
Blood Oxygen Level
Known as "The Fifth Vital Sign," the blood oxygen level is an estimation of your blood's oxygen saturation (SpO2). It is a way of assessing the overall efficiency of your respiratory function
Pulse uses red and infrared LEDS to measure both your heart rate and your blood oxygen level (SPO2), and there are also two active green LEDs
See How You're Sleeping
When it's time for bed, place the Withings Pulse O2 in the wristband and launch the sleep cycle analysis. The next morning you'll be able to assess your sleep in order to have more restorative nights. The in-app graph shows the different sleep cycles and lists key sleep quality indicators - something more reliable than "impressions"
Automatic Wake-Up Detection
The Pulse O2 features an automatic "Getting out of bed" recognition. Based on the movements and temperature tracked, your Pulse is able to tell that you got out of bed. This prevents tracking errors leading to abnormally long nights and unusually short days just because you forgot to switch your Pulse from Sleep to Activity tracking
The Pulse O2 automatically syncs to your smartphone all throughout the day thanks to its embedded Bluetooth Low Energy (4.0) technology. Each time the data is wirelessly transmitted to your free secured Withings account, it is put into perspective and made available in the dedicated Web and mobile iOS/Android app
Swipe for Motivation
Did you beat your previous record? Slide your finger across the touchscreen and go back into time. The Withings Pulse O2 features History Browsing which allows you to display 10 days worth of data, giving you insight on your progress
Free iOS/Android App
A free iOS application called Health Mate is available from the App Store, and is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. A free Android application is available from the Google Play store. Track your food using partner app MyFitnessPal and get an extra widget in Health Mate to display metabolic and total calories. Create a free and secure account. The app turns your data into graphs showing trends and showcasing your day-to-day progress. An app widget also displays your metabolic + total calories
Works with Other Apps
Works with other fitness apps like RunKeeper, mapmyfitness, and myfitnesspal
Vertical "Watch Screen"
The wrist-wearable Pulse O2 features a screen that is readable at an angle so you can see steps, elevation, calories, and more. The watch screen is intuitively displayed first before the other data when you press on the tracker's button. This makes it easy to see the screen when wearing the tracker on your wrist like a smartwatch
Versatile Activity Tracking
This version of the Pulse O2 features an updated "step counting" algorithm. The list of typical "movement sequences" recorded by the embedded accelerometer and gyroscope - recognized as steps - was expanded. The impact of your feet on the ground spreads non-uniformly throughout the body and the signal you can detect isn't the same depending on where you place the tracker. This means that your Pulse O2 is able to accurately track steps when it is worn on your wrist using the wristband. You don't have to worry about how you wear your Pulse, even when it's on your wrist
Versatile Wearing Style
Wear your Pulse 02 however you want - during the day you can wear it on your wrist using the adjustable watchband, attach it to your belt or clothing using the clip, or keep it in a pocket or bag. At night, use the wristband to monitor your sleep. As the watchband's spring bars are standard (0.7") you can even create your own customized wristband (additional bands are sold separately)
The tracker has a built-in lithium-ion polymer battery that lasts for up to two weeks between charges and recharges via the included cable
Switch between six different languages - choose to have your tracker address you in French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, or Dutch. The display languages of the Pulse O2 and of the Health Mate app can be different if you want them to. In the app, simply go into "My devices," select the Pulse and pick the language
