Sirui 3T-35K Reviews

Best tripod by far

I have the Switchpod and, the Joby GorillaPod and this has become my every day table tripod. I really love how portable and light weight it is, but strong at the same time. Have handled my Sony A6400, with the rig, and Sigma 16mm lens with a light with no problem.

I like the quality of the table top tripod, it’s just a sturdy as it’s larger tripod and the Sirui name stands for its quality.

I bought this to hold a webcam for online teaching, and I am very impressed with the quality and adjustment options. It is well made, sturdy, and easy to use in several configurations.

C-10S ball head with this versatile tripod under an E-M1X

The C-10S ball head avoids the reported problem of the 3T-35K's standard ball joint breaking loose when moving the head for a panorama shot. The trade off is that the C-10S ball head is probably an inch more or less longer than the standard ball head. The tripod itself is adjustable up and down, and comes with a substitute leg that allows the camera to be mounted a little lower than it would be with the standard leg lowered. The leg can also be removed to allow placement of the camera near ground level. I got it to use with an Olympus OM-D E-M1X when doing online video conferencing. For that it works fine with a lighter weight lens; but with some of the longer, heavier lenses available in the OM-D line it can tip.

Great concept but doesn't support anywhere near 8.8 lbs.

I wanted a small tabletop tripod for my city excursions as many places dont allow full tripods in many places in the city. I have a Canon mirrorless camera which totaled with various lenses....3 - 4 lbs. I saw that this tripod claimed to support 8.8 lbs. but when it arrived, it was unable to support my camera setups, even without the extension. It held the weight but was very wobbly and I wouldn't trust it for my long exposure shots. I do love the design and think it would be perfect for smaller vlogging (Canon G7X ish...) cameras or smartphones. I would stick to things under 1.5/2 lbs. I plan to return mine for something more sturdy with a classic tripod design.

This is the tripod you actually carry with you on a trip when other tripods are too large or heavy. While it is great to take a close-up picture of small objects, I also used it for a long exposure of a stream in the forest or indoor pictures, leaning against a wall or column in buildings where tripods are not allowed. As with all Sirui products, this tripod is beautifully made and it easy to adjust. Even though high ISO's of modern sensors and VR make hand-held shots in low light possible, there are times when you want to keep ISO at a reasonable level and use a slow shutter speed while getting the best image quality. This is one of the best table top/small travel tripods I have used.

Glad I bought it!!
