How does one remove the bullhead and the column ...

How does one remove the bullhead and the column from the tripod? Allen wrench required?
Asked by: chris
Directly under the ballhead is a large ring. Tighten the pan lock, hold the ring, give the head a quick twist to the left to loosen. Directly above the base is a small collar on the column, and on that collar is a small hex socket set screw. Use the provided allen wrench to loosen the set screw 2-3 turns. Once the set screw is loosened, the column unscrews from the base.
