The AVRG750U AVR Series Uninterruptible Power Supply from CyberPower comes equipped with a capacity of 750VA/450W that delivers power for up to twelve electronic devices. This power supply features Automatic Voltage Regulation boost/buck technology, which provides consistent and clean AC power to all your connected equipment such as PCs, monitors, cable DSL/modems, VoIP routers, home theater devices, and more. Furthermore, it has composite integrated circuitry for lighting protection and EMI/RFI filters.

This power supply offers twelve outlets that are capable of absorbing up to 1,030 Joules for keeping your devices safe against surges and spikes. To keep your devices powered during blackouts, brownouts, and sags, six of the outlets deliver power via the 12-volt lead acid sealed battery. In addition to the outlets, the UPS provides three RJ-11 ports to protect phones. It features a compact design, which can be installed horizontally or vertically and is wall mountable.

This power supply is Energy Star qualified with GreenPower UPS Bypass circuitry for reducing energy consumption and heat buildup to help save energy costs. Included with the power supply is the PowerPanel Personal edition UPS management software for Windows systems. This software requires minimal system resources and monitors the status of the UPS to ensure it is working properly. When a power outage does occur, this software automatically saves open files and powers down the system into hibernation mode. When your PC is running in hibernation mode, the power supply will offer a longer runtime.

Automatic Voltage Regulation

AVR boost/buck technology stabilizes the AC voltage by increasing low voltages and decreasing high voltages to maintain a safe voltage level without switching to battery mode. This conserves battery life and delivers cleaner AC power to connected equipment.

Reduce Energy Costs & Heat Loss

This ENERGY STAR qualified UPS system utilizes patented GreenPower UPS Bypass circuitry to save on energy costs by reducing energy consumption and heat buildup.

Quiet UPS

This uninterruptible power supply comes with an efficient design that reduces sound emissions.

EMI/RFI Filters

Shielding against electromagnetic interference and radio frequency signals prevents line noise ("humming") over telephone lines or audio systems.

Transformer-Spaced Outlets

Widely-spaced outlets accommodate large transformer-based plugs without compromising the utility of other outlets.

USB Connectivity

The HID-compliant USB port enables full integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

Mounting

Can be mounted horizontally or vertically.

LED Indicators

Status lights for indicating Power On and Wiring Fault.

Audible Alarms

Distinctive tones identify when the unit is running on battery power, if it is overloaded, or when the battery is low.

Resettable Circuit Breaker

Convenient unit reset switch in case of an overload.

PowerPanel Personal Edition for Windows

In event of a power outage, PowerPanel PE saves open files and "hibernates" the PC to increase the runtime on the UPS unit. PowerPanel is easily installed on any Windows-based PC and uses minimal system resources. The diagnostic screen displays the status of the UPS, including silent operation mode, configurable system notifications, automatic self tests, adjustable high/low voltage warnings, event/data logging, and scheduled shutdowns.

CyberPower AVRG750 Reviews

It's a UPS

Nothing fancy, no LED readout. Just your basic UPS with AVR which is exactly what I need for my several monitors and USB hubs. Cyberpower has always been my go-to for standby power.

Seems to solve my problem

There seem to be momentary power surges on our line that my previous APC PS did not deal with. Maybe it needed a new battery but mine was replace a couple of years ago. And it's monitoring s/w said the battery was OK. So I bought this CyperPower Unit rather then a new battery. So far works perfectly. Picks up with no interruption when power dies. I'll write another review if I see the same problem with power surges as I saw before, but for now I am thrilled! Protected again. And their desktop monitor s/w works nicely. I've got about 10 low power devices + a big workstation plugged in on battery backup (used a power strip to increase the 6 available battery backup receptacles. A power hungry printer is on surge protection only.

Great Power Backup

Low cost, reliable, and a great power backup. Provides power until the generator kicks in allowing computers, tv, routers and other equipment to continue operating, without needing to reboot. Highly recommended.

Does the job

I bought this primarily because I wanted an audible alarm during power outages. This model has the audible alarm along with a mute button. Other manufacturers have the alarm silenced as a default. Wish it was more compact is my only criticism .

Worked great to keep wifi and router going in a storm

Got it to keep my router and wifi running in a power outage, which does require less power than keeping a computer connected. Power went out about a month later, and it worked great. I kept the occasional chirp on so that I was aware when the battery was in use. I also like the AVR feature, which supposedly prevents line fluctuations from switching to the battery unnecessarily and prolongs battery life.

Good Power Supply for the money

I bought this to support all my home internet electronics:  Modem, wireless router, camera NVR, Silcondust HDHomeRun Tuner, Ooma Telco.  I have experienced some power blinks in my area which were causing problems with internet connectivity.  This UPS solved all my problems.  Not only do I have enough outlets in one place but the way this unit keeps the power clean, constant and stable has really been great!  I no longer have any connectivity issues.  I think given the UPS cleans the power it has given me better performance as far as up time and streaming capability goes.  This is a great unit for the $!!!

Power Advantage

I have 5 of these. You get AVR for a price much less then other AVRs. To me, that is the most important feature of a UPS. Have a battery is great, but maintaining accurate voltage protects your electronics during their life, not just when the power goes off!

Works great with my Synology NAS

This works great as a small UPS for my Synology NAS. It was recognized automatically. The electricity went out a couple of days ago, and the server correctly shut itself down and came back up after the power was restored. Excellent! I wish the power button were in a different place. As it is, it's awkward to turn it on and off, under my desk. I'll probably try to mount it vertically to address this.
