Will the Godox ad200 pro fit and could you fit two of them in this set up?
Asked by: Jeff
The large opening for the Rapid Box Duo will accommodate two ad200 heads. The mounting bracket designed for 2 speedlites would require modification to mount either one or two AD200. Modifications are not supported by Westcott and may void the warranty.

question

Would two Nikon Sb-700 flashes attached to two Phottix Odin 2 receivers fit on this?
Asked by: Joseph Flores
Greetings just saw the message. I have used mines with 2 sb910s. The i had to set up mines I had the 2 speed lights in manual mode with the back of the speed light facing each other with 2 manual transcievers from yongnuo only 3-4 inch of the speed light goes into the rapid box Once both lights r in u will not have access to the controlls on the back of the speed light. The transcievers will face out 1 facing left and 1 facing right And I used mines like that. By the trigger and transcievers being manual it would only fire the speed light. Now that some speed lights have built in receivers it makes it easy for the speed light to with the rapid due because u can turn the speed lights around and have the controlls facing out Especially if u have a trigger that dose not control or change the settings of the light

question

It looks like the flash speed lights are mounted with the flash head pointed in the up position. Most speed lights (Nikon and Canon) dont support HSS (High Speed Sync) with the flash head pointed up. Is that the only way to mount using this soft box?
Asked by: Jeffrey M.
Jeffrey,HSS is sometimes disabled when using some flashes on camera in the bounce position but it is my understanding when moving those flashes off the hot shoe and firing wirelessly, HSS sync is available. Check your specific flash to see if this is the case. Also you can forego the Duo bracket and place one of the included cold shoes on the remaining tilter mechanism to mount a single flash for use in the upright position.

question

Would one be able to drill and attach a Bowens speed ring to this and essentially turn it from a speed light soft box to a strobe flash softbox?
Asked by: Brandon G.
What you are referring to is a personally customized product. As there are many ingenuitive or creative people who may find custom solutions, as each solution would be custom, we cannot state how well your (or others') ideas may work. It would just require experimentation.

question

How can a single or dual ad200 mount on this?
Asked by: Ara H.
The best solution for mounting one or two AD200 units to a Duo is probably using the Dual power flash bracket available for the AD200 Attaching a 1/4-20 female spigot or pin in place of the Duo portion of the Rapid Box tilter assembly will allow you to mount the bracket. You might also consider the 36 Rapid Box with the Bowens mount which would attach to the Bracket without further modification.
