I use this with a westcott Balcar/Einstein speed ring to mount an Einstein flash facing inwards to a Zeppelin 47. The mounting block is made of aluminum and therefore subject to stripping if you crank down on the black fastening knobs too tightly. Just tighten to snug and you wont strip it.

Ehh, but if you must

Overpriced and not so great built quality. Wescott seems have most of their products made in factories with not so good quality control. After a few uses I noticed the bolt where the arm locks onto the Zepplin was stripped a little. Returned and bought one on another site for about 1/3 the price.

Great way to get another use for the Zeppelin!

Turns your Zeppelin into more of a beauty dish effect vs without this attachment. Makes the mod much more useable.

question

Can this mounting arm and grip be used with a PCB Einstein?
Asked by: Anonymous
've found you also don't need the speeding on the end of the arm. I mount my Einstein inverted with the stand mount forward toward the flashtube pointing at the back of the box.

question

The Westcott Zeppelin mounting arm is rated at 6 lbs max load, just under the 6.6 lbs of a Profoto B1 weight with battery. Can anyone confirm that this combo will work or not work?
Asked by: Mark W.
No, the Profoto B1 is too heavy for the Zeppelin Mounting arm.

Yes you can. The Elinchrom option fits standard Elinchrom lights, however not the quadra series.
