The Marshall 17" LCD RM Monitor with Dual HD-SDI Input Module fills the need for a basic, rack-mounted, production or confidence monitor. The 1920 x 1080 LED backlit LCD panel supports both NTSC and PAL signal formats. The monitor includes an interchangeable dual-input HD-SDI module, which you can swap out for other optionally available input modules. The module allows you to connect two HD-SDI sources to your monitor, and it also features a switchable HD-SDI output that allows you to select which input to pass through. The monitor maintains image brightness and color balance at viewing angles up to 140° x 130°, before severe viewing artifacts appear. The 250 nit brightness level is appropriate for use in location interiors and machine room viewing without a sun hood or visor, while the 600:1 contrast ratio displays an image useful for confidence viewing.
The monitor features multiple color temperature settings of D55, D65, and D93 and supports pixel-to-pixel display with pre-set gamma points, auto sensing of input signal, and false color. It is powered via 12 volt DC current, making it suitable for use on location or studio work, and features a two-pin twist lock connector. This monitor comes with rack mounting tabs installed, so you can easily integrate it into a rack or flight case.
