Celestron 71360 overview

  • 1Description

Celestron's 7x35 LandScout Binocular combines a porro prism optical path with 35mm objective lenses and anti-reflection fully multicoated optics to produce views with a sharp depth of view that are bright and clear. The binocular's 65.1° apparent angle of view provides an immersive wide-angle field of view while providing a comfortable magnification that reduces noticeable image-shake on land and visual disorientation on the water.

To reduce the overall weight, and to make it easy to use during long observation sessions, the chassis is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy with rubberized armoring that protects against bumps and impacts. Made for use in all weather, the housing is nitrogen-filled to be water and fogproof. This is critical when the binocular is being used in areas with wide temperature fluctuations which can affect the performance. On the trail, in the woods, at the park or stadium, the LandScout binocular is ideal for almost any activity.

    Celestron 71360 reviews

7x35 LandScout Binocular is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Great Celestron Product After I gave a sterling review for the outstanding Celestron Granite 8x42 roof prism binoculars, I'm doing the same for these Celestron 7x35 LandScouts. I bought these for my grandson's 18th birthday and, after field testing, these binoculars do not disappoint. The images are sharp, crisp and clear. The focus is smooth and the binoculars have a good, sturdy feel. The wide angle of 488 feet @ 1,000 yards is great, too. These will be ideal for sporting events and general use. I also like the case with its strap and the deluxe neck strap for the binoculars. The limited lifetime warranty speaks for itself. As I said in my other review, I am convinced that the name Celestron is the best kept secret in quality binoculars. They don't just make telescopes, America! They make top notch binoculars, too! As always, the price is unbeatable for the quality. When you buy an optical product from this company, rest assured it's going to be of top quality, hands down. Celestron, you hit another homerun!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great eye relief! These are quite good binoculars, but where they really shine is in the eye relief. As an eyeglasses wearer, I find it difficult to use many of the available binos out there. These ones are really good if you want to keep your glasses on. They aren't optical superstars, but they are nice to look through and won't break the bank.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, good grip; sharp Over the years Ive learned that any purchase like this (e.g. camera, video gear) HAS to feel good in your hands. The CelestronLandScout felt great from the moment I put it in my mitts (glove size L to XL). Clarity is superb, focusing sharp. From birds to NFL RBs I think this on will do the job.
