Enjoy bright and clear views from dawn to dusk with Celestron's 12x50 LandScout Binocular. The combination of porro prism optical path design, large 50mm objective lenses, and anti-reflection fully multicoated optics produce views with crisp depth of field that are bright and clear, even in low-light. The binocular's 66° apparent angle of view provides an immersive wide-angle field of view not normally associated with 12x magnification optics.

To offset the weight of the large lenses, the chassis is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy with rubberized armoring that protects against bumps and impacts. Made for extensive use in all weather, the housing is nitrogen-filled for water and fogproof performance. This is critical when the binocular is being used in areas where temperature fluctuation can affect the performance. On the trail, in the woods, at the park or stadium, the LandScout binocular is ideal for almost any activity.

12x50 LandScout Binocular is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are the best binoculars I have ever owned I am very impressed by these binoculars. They are very bright, crystal clear and easy to use. They are not too heavy so I don't really feel I need a tripod. I have purchased many binoculars over the years but these are the best. I recommend them for all types of use. The 12x and wide feel of view makes them great for wildlife, scenery and star gazing. I have some 50x by 100 that I occasionally use but they are very heavy and require a tripod. They aren't nearly as bright as these Celestron Landscout.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! I have a Celestron telescope, which has been excellent, but wanted something more convenient for general use. I have had the telescope for about 25 years and when the mirror got mildew on it from our time on a very humid Caribbean island, Celestron repaired it for a very reasonable price, and it was like new after. For that reason I didn't hesitate to buy Celestron again. These 12X50 Land Scout binoculars did not let me down. The instrument is quality built with a sharp view. The focus setup is superb. It is quick and easy to focus for differences between left and right eyes. My first test observation was of a power transmission tower on a distant hill that I could barely discern with my bare eyes. After adjusting the focus I could not only see the tower clearly but also the wires. Very impressive, especially for such a reasonable price. Love them!
