The WC IDX V-Mount Battery Plate from Wooden Camera provides unregulated 12 to 16V power (depending on the mounted batteries) for powering accessories via two D-Tap connectors. Use this plate with the Wooden Camera's Director's Monitor Cage or combine it with a Battery Slide and rod bracket for an adjustable battery system.

Am I correct in thinking this unregulated Dtap would power a RED or Arri mini 4k camera from D-tap? Also, when would a regulated Dtap be required?
That would depend on the voltage required by the camera and the batteries you have. Most DC 12V items will take a range of voltages say 16v to 9v. As for regulated some of my devices need a regulated current. In those cases I bought the power cable supplied specifically for that product with a regulator in line. That is the safest bet.

You would need a Cheese Plate with a 15mm Rod such as the SHAPE CP33 Multi-Purpose Mounting Cheese Plate, BH #SHCP33.

How I can mount this plate on a Ronin M and use it with a regular v-mount battery? Can someone recommend me mounting options how to mount this plate to a ROnon M? Any adapters available? I was looking at GyroVu V-Mount Battery Carbon Fiber Mount & D-Tap to LP-E6 Adapter Cable for Ronin M/MX, MoVI B&H # IDPV257 but I don't see this GyroVu plate from the back and don't know if there any possibility to mount it on the 25mm Ronin M tube?Thank you

This plate is basically just a way to mount a battery. It features a couple d-tap outlets that can be used to run power to anything that needs it. As long as you can get a D-Tap power cable to your camera it will work.

Hey, they are. I use several of these to power both my small and large monitors. Can definitely vouch for them, they have a fuse (easily replaceable if blown) that make sure nothing short-circuits back to whatever device you are powering or the battery.
