Think Tank Photo designed their black Perception 15 Backpack as a daypack that gives you maximum mobility without sacrificing carrying capacity. This versatile bag has a padded and divided compartment accommodates laptops up to 15" plus tablets up to 10". The main compartment can hold a mirrorless camera body or a small DLSR with a small to medium zoom lens attached with the lens hood reversed, plus 1-2 additional lenses or a medium GoPro/action cam kit.

The Perception's exterior is made of 600 Denier nylon with the soft look and feel of twill, and treated with a water repellent coating. When repelling water isn't enough, a seam-sealed rain cover is included. Its underside features a polyurethane coating for added protection from stray water. Built for all day comfort, the padded backpack harness is breathable to allow airflow and comes equipped with an adjustable sternum strap to keep the bag close to your body and to limit load shift.

Perception 15 Backpack (Black) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice hybrid bag, great for minimal setups and day trips. Having recently moved to a mirrorless setup for convenience/portability/travel, I wanted a bag with that lends itself to that same purpose, and I'm pretty happy with this one so far. It's not your typical camera bag, it's more of a backpack with extra reinforcing/padding and happens to have a pouch for a camera + a lens or two. I wouldn't use this as a primary camera bag if you have more than 1 body and 2 smallish lenses, because that's about all there is room for. The rest of the space is open for other misc items. It's great for a minimal camera setup and a few bits and pieces you might need for a 1 or 2 day trip. I typically use it for an A7II + 55mm f/1.8 (it's a bit tight, but fits great if you put it in the pocket diagonally. Any larger lens would need to be removed.), cards, batteries, charger, tripod, 13 MBP+accessories, a jacket and a change of clothes, and I have room for one more medium-sized lens if needed. I like that it doesn't look like a camera bag, but it *does* look kind of expensive nonetheless. I'm sure there are other bags that look more nondescript, if that's what you're after. Shoulder straps are great, almost overkill for a bag this size, which is welcome. I was also surprised at the stiffness and padding the bag provides. It's more protective than I was expecting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great build quality This bag is super ergonomic. Fits my a5100 and 2 lenses. I wanted a bag to carry a little more than just a camera and this is great. With a laptop, iPad, all camera things this bag fits a couple bottles on water and a sandwich and there's not much room for more. If this was a daily bag for me i would likely have moved the next size up. Their website has a great video demonstrating all bags in this line. Check it out before you buy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent backpack for mirrorless system Think Tank is really an amazing company. I don't know how they repeatedly produce really outstanding products. This pack is very light and yet very well made and sturdy. The pack lays close to your back and keeps a flat profile. It sits up by itself and if you unzip it and roll the top back, it's pretty easy to get at your gear. The harness is extremely comfortable and really fits the contours of my body---so much so that I don't really have to use the sternum strap--and that's unusual for me. It's not as comfortable as a pack with a well-designed hip belt but it comes pretty darn close and is ideal for day hikes. I love it. I love it so much that I also ordered the Perception Tablet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Fujifilm X series kit I bought this bag together with the Tenbo Boyb 9 and Packlite Travel Bag to carry a 15in apple laptop and iPad, and my Fujifilm X series kit. I love that I can take the lot on the aeroplane with me and then break down my kit as needs be. When out and about I use the Tenbo with Packlite bag to carry a camera and a few lens at a time, or the whole bag whatever the situation calls for. A very convenient method when travelling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMZING BACKPACK! Such a well made Backpack, even with a 15 inch macbook pro, iPad 2, two Sony A7 bodies, 5 lenses, batteries, chargers and a monitor, the balance of weight in it is incredible, feels so light on your back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pack for camera gear It's a little compact but it makes you think about what you'll really need! That's a good thing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Backpack/Camera Bag However PLAN FOR THE FUTURE My girl loves this bag!! Fits her D5300 w/18-55mm attached to it. I do wish it had upgrade ability though. The deeper she gets into photography the More Pockets she'll need. But I guess we'll upgrade to the PRO down the road & she can use the Perception 15 for minimal trips (where she only needs 1-2 lenses). At first the fact that the bag doesn't open all the way Up was an Issue. With some retraining it's become 2nd nature to roll the Top. The material is comfortable, the straps don't get annoying, & even with a 15 laptop & a full compartment area the bag is still Very LIGHTWEIGHT. Top Marks, but we'll have to test it's weather resistant & Rain Cover during Hurricane season down here in FL. That will be the TRUE Test

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable I walked around for a few days with this bag and it is extremely comfortable. The quality of this bag is superb. As small as this bag may look, it can actually carry a decent amount of equipment.
