The white HDC Series VZ-HDC-8 Full HD Day/Night Box Camera from ViewZ is equipped with a 1/3" 2.2MP Panasonic CMOS sensor for capturing sharp images at 1080p full HD resolution with a frame rate of 30 fps. It accepts C and CS-mount lenses (not included) and features an HD-SDI output resolution with active pixel resolution of 1944 x 1092 and effective pixel resolution of 2010 x 1108. This camera can be completely controlled by the built-in OSD and is capable of operating on 24 VAC or 12 VDC ±10% (power supply not included).
Full HD 1080p over Coaxial Cable, BNC Connection
VZ-HDC-8 features three 1/3" 2.2 MP CMOS Panasonic image sensors for RGB. These sensors help the camera to achieve 1920 x 1080 (2.2 MP) HD-SDI output resolution with an active pixel resolution of 1944 x 1092 and an effective pixel resolution of 2010 x 1108.
The HDC camera line utilizes a progressive scanning system which eliminates the jagged edged artifacts seen commonly in interlaced scanning.
This camera comes with motion detection function (4 zones selectable) which starts recording as soon as motion is detected.
This function allows you to blur or completely block certain areas which are within the field of view of the camera from being seen on monitor.
The camera's true WDR technology combines long and short exposures into one frame to increase image quality. This technology also improves color reproduction, produces clear-cut features, and improves the contrast ratio.
Optical Multi Coated ICR Filter
The camera comes with a mechanism which will switch the CCD to an optical low-pass filter (OLPF) during the daytime to deflect the IR light, whereas during the night time it will switch to a regular glass piece.
Equipped with a built-in ICR (IR-cut filter removable) and an IR illuminator, this camera can deliver colorful videos during the day and black & white videos when the illumination drops below a certain lux level.
Sense-Up (Slow Shutter)
By automatically slowing the shutter speed, this camera is able to pick up the slightest traces of light to display a bright image.
Automatic Gain Control (AGC)
AGC increases the amount of amplification in certain conditions to being the video signals up to the minimum required level. AGC also reduces noise and picture attenuation to provide better quality picture.
The camera supports BLC. It controls the brightness level of the screen in order to distinguish objects against backlight. In addition, this camera also supports highlight suppression BLC. This feature cuts off strong light from the screen. According to the user's preference, zones and sensitivity can be adjusted. For example, highlight suppression allows for clear recognition of license plates and/or people inside the car.
2D and 3D Noise Reduction
Noise reduction is used in order to obtain a high-quality output image and enhance compression efficiency.
In addition to the features given above, the camera supports ATW, defogging, and HLC. It also supports C & CS mounting (lens not included) and video outputs for diverse applications.
