The Ion Battery System from Kessler Crane is an ultra-light weight system featuring a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4 or LFP) technology. Since it is Lithium Iron Phosphate, there is no charge "memory effect" so you can charge the battery whenever you want to and it can handle 2000+ charge cycles.

Tipping the scales at 3.7 lbs (4.1 lbs in case) and with a capacity of 9.6 amp hours; the Ion is both light and powerful. Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries have no thermal runaway and contain no poisonous chemicals. There are no heavy metals in the Ion, making this battery clean, environmentally friendly, and recyclable. The materials are safe enough to be used as soil to grow plants.

For protection, the battery is housed inside of a weather-resistant padded case. The case has built-in device storage for holding small accessories. One female XLR plug and two female 12V DC cigarette lighter plugs are built in for connecting up to three devices without the need of additional adapters.
