I have a lensbaby 5.8 and it gives me the full circle image on Canon full frame, but it doesnt take up the entire frame. Will this 12mm still give me the entire circle image or will some of the circle be outside of the image frame?

It is not a circular fisheye. You can get a full circle image with this Canon lens: https://bhpho.to/334mi92

question

Will this 12mm FF lens operate similar to the 19.2mm APS-C equivalency, if I have it hooked up to my metabones speedbooster utlra 0.71x / GH4 combo?
Asked by: William J.
If you are referring to the full-frame equivalent angle of view/focal length of the lens, when using the Metabones T Speed Booster Ultra 0.71x Adapter and adding the 2x crop factor of the Micro Four Thirds sensor, the Rokinon 12mm f/2.8 ED AS IF NCS UMC Fisheye Lens for Canon EF Mount would have a full-frame equivalent focal length of approximately 17mm. As such, it would be wider than a 19.2mm lens.

This lens has 180 degree field of view on full frame. What is the field of view on APS-C?
Asked by: Tony
Thank you Reuben. 124 degrees on Sony APS-C is a really useful field of view. Also makes it worthwhile getting the 8mm f2.8 APSC lens as well, for those times when a full 180 degrees is needed.

People who have used a 12mm f/2.8 Fisheye Lens with extension tubes say they cannot get any image at any distance, with even the thinnest tube,
