The PROAMFT from ProAm USA is a pro tripod legs & bag kit. The tripod legs are capable of supporting up to 80 lb. The tripod legs weigh 8.5 lb and extend from 27" to 63" tall. A 3/8" screw mount on the top of the tripod provides easy mounting for a camera crane. A geared telescopic center column, bubble level, and spreader are featured for added stability and level shots. Hi do the legs on this tripod actually extend to 72 , or is that only when the center post is extended? Thanks!

The legs themselves measure 54 so depending on the angle you have them at, the height will be somewhat shorter than that. With the center post fully extended and the legs spread to make the widest base, the full height measures 67 . I was able to achieve 72 by pulling the legs in to a pretty steep angle (thereby giving up a bit of stability of having a wide base).
