Lexar 64GB UHS-II SDXC Overview

The 64GB Professional 1000x UHS-II SDXC Memory Card (2-Pack) from Lexar features a storage capacity of 64GB and takes advantage of the UHS-II bus to support advanced DSLR functions such as continuous shutter bursts and rapid shooting, as well as raw and JPEG captures. This card is also well-suited for video capture, including 4K, 3D, and Full HD video, and can achieve maximum read speeds of up to 150 MB/s and maximum write speeds of up to 75 MB/s. Thanks to its U3 speed class rating, minimum write speeds are guaranteed not to drop below 30 MB/s.

UHS-II media achieves its speed through an extra row of pins and while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / U3 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II or U3. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-I and U3. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantees minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

To help protect against accidental file deletion, there is a built-in write protect switch. To further safeguard against possible data loss, users can download free Image Rescue software that is designed to recover most photo and video files.

i have older cards of this type. the ONLY difference being the addition of the "V60" designation - my understanding is that this marking doesn't indicate any difference in the cards but reflects the industries mania regarding designations. THE QUESTION: Why, when i format these 2 differering cards in my video camera i get 2 different record times? my older cards get 633min and the new card gets 619. ive tried multiple formatting options.

Hello good day. Unfortunately, I can't answer you. I use photo cards, not video cards. Usually it shows a prediction of how much it can still write to the card based on the information (ISO, Speed and Aperture) set on the machine at that time.

The Canon T6 is very easy on cards. You do not need the fastest or most expensive. You can use this or any other SD, SDHC or SDXC card such as this one. SanDisk 64GB Ultra UHS-I SDXC Memory Card (Class 10) B&H # SAUSD64GBA

I don't know for sure as I am a Nikon shooter. I believe they will work in any camera that accepts SDXC cards. They do work in both the Nikon D810 and 850.

I have a Canon 6D Mark II. Is there any reason why I should use a card faster than a UHS-I SD card? Canon lists that a UHS-I is supported in this device.
Asked by: Charles
Canon Support notified me (and user manual pp 5 & 343) that the UHS-II cards are not compatible with the EOS 6D Mark II. In addition, using a UHS-II card will not benefit in faster read/write speed in this camera which only supports SD/SDHC/SDXC UHS-I cards.
