    Lexar 256GB UHS-II SDXC reviews

    256GB Professional 1000x UHS-II SDXC Memory Card (2-Pack, Class 10, UHS Speed Class 3) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Both Cards Crashed within 2 months I purchased a 2-pack of these cards. The first one crashed (no longer readable by either the camera or computer) after about 1,000 pictures. I returned the card to Lexar and they replaced it. The second of the two cards crashed after about 2,000 pictures last week while I was in Iceland. Thankfully, I learned my lesson from the first card and was writing my images to 2 cards on my D810 when it happened. I'm really hoping this was just a bad batch of cards. The first replacement card that Lexar sent me has worked fine so far (for 2 weeks). I'll update the review after a month or so after I've tested it further and received a second replacement card from Lexar. Again, I've never had a Lexar card crash on me prior to this, so I'm hoping this is just a blip. Stay tuned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needed fast memory, got it I needed to upgrade my memory - I was having to wait for the buffer on my Nikon D7100 to flush out to slow cards. Bought this two pack, one for each card slot (I shoot JPG Fine + RAW) -- hardly have to wait now and I went to having around 4.7K space for photos. Now I'm going to be looking for a larger external hard drive to hold all the photos I'll be taking!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible for 4K I bought these cards to shoot 4K video with a Canon 5D Mark IV which specifies a card that is at least 100 MB/s. These cards are very unreliable in their ability to handle this camera's 4k. Sometimes they work and sometimes they do not. I can shoot a 10 minute clip no problem and then when I go to shoot another clip they operate for like 4 seconds and stop. they will do that for several takes and then start working again. My 128 GB 2000X 300MB/s card has no problem ever. These cards I bought to shoot 4K video. Why else would you need 256GB? I don't want to put that many still images on one card. With the Canon 5D Mark IV these cards are horrible and don't work!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does NOT work with Blackmagic Video Assist 4K Learned the hard way that these cards drop frames on the Blackmagic Video Assist 4K. Thanks Lexar.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AVOID THIS BRAND!!! I've purchased these cards, thinking they were the best in the market. So I travelled to Myanmar and took the best pictures in my life. As soon as I returned home, one of the card (of course was the one with Myanmar pictures!) just didn't work. On the camera, there was a msg saying that it must be formatted, and in the computer it was said nothing - the computer simply didn't identified that there was a card. I wrote t Lexar and sent them the card. Few days later, they replied saying that they had no idea about what had happened and that they couldn't recovery the pictures. So, I spent a lot of money on these cards, took the best pictures ever and they just broke! And Lexar team has no ideal Come on...... That's not a serious company!! I'll NEVER purchase any Lexar product again. I regret so much, that I have no words. Hope this helps somebody.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow. So far so good. Getting 5+ hours out of a ag-dvx200 in 4k per card. Pretty sweet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little card I bought this to go along with my new toy, an Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II. So far all is working well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME! I love this card. I'm new to DSLR/Mirrorless cameras so I take A LOT of photos right now just practicing and messing around with settings. This card allows me to take hundreds and hundreds of photos and won't fill up. I then take the card back to my computer and I can compare all of the different shots I took and see what I did wrong or right!
