The barebones version of the Q1614 720p Day/Night Network Camera from Axis Communications delivers detailed video in demanding surveillance conditions, such as in poor or highly variable lighting. The camera includes both Wide Dynamic Range with dynamic capture and Lightfinder technologies. Wide Dynamic Range with dynamic capture ensures that no part of an image is too dark or too bright. Additionally, the camera provides manual fine tuning of a high-contrast image for easy and clear identification, even in very complicated scenes. Identification of an incident is easy thanks to clear HDTV 720p video quality at 50 or 60 fps. Lightfinder technology makes the camera extremely sensitive to low light, effectively allowing it to capture clear images even in dark conditions to offer color video.
The focus assistant feature helps you set the focus, which can also be remotely fine tuned using remote back focus. Pixel counter helps verify that the pixel resolution of an object fulfills regulatory or user requirements. The leveling assistance function assists to achieve the correct level during installation, and the auto rotation function flips the image to the right orientation, even when the Corridor format is used.
Installation is made easy with Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af), which eliminates the need for separate a power supply and associated cables. The camera also has a memory card slot (card not included) for storing recordings locally.
Note: Since this is a barebones version, the lens is not included.
