Ideal for location interviews, B&H has put together this Gold mount Dracast Pro Series LED1000 Bi-Color 2-Light Kit. The kit is comprised of two Pro Series LED1000 bi-color lights, each with a multi-voltage power adapter, a case, and a light stand.

Dracast Pro Series LED1000 Bi-Color LED Light Panel (Gold Mount)

At 5.4 lb, the Pro Series LED1000 Bi-Color LED Light Panel from Dracast is an ideal choice for location work, interviews, and small sets where color accuracy, control, and flicker-free output are of major importance. This 12 x 12" panel is significantly larger than the Pro Series LED500 unit. Variable color temperature from 3200 to 5600K means you can quickly match the prevailing ambient or artificial light balance with a simple twist of a knob while others are still applying filters. Dimming is equally convenient via another knob that adjusts the light intensity from 0 to 100% with negligible color shift. Additionally, its high CRI of 96 renders colors with precision and fidelity. The low electrical draw of 60W means a timely return on your investment.

The durable aluminum frame is supported by a sturdy, U-shaped yoke with locking knobs on each side and a standard 5/8" receiver. The LED1000 can be used worldwide, powered by the included 100 to 240 VAC adapter or optional Gold mount 14.8 VDC batteries. Accessories include optional 4-way barndoors for contouring and control of the LED1000's 45° beam angle. A carry case is included for convenient storage and portability.

Dracast DLS-805 Spring-Cushioned Light Stand (6')

The DLS-805 Spring-Cushioned Light Stand from Dracast extends from 28.5" to 72" and has a load capacity of 13 lb. It folds down to 28.5" for transport, and weighs 3.4 lb. There is a 5/8" stud on top of the stand.

The stand is composed of lightweight aluminum and is anodized to cut down on reflections. It is spring-cushioned to keep lighting fixtures damage-free when lowering. Large knobs are easy to grip and allow for quick, smooth adjustments.

Great Light kit for the price

I purchased this two-light LED kit for an internal department on a budget that produces only occasional videos. We needed something lightweight for remote work that offered enough punch for as a keylight while still being useful as a fill or hair light, in a variety of lighting situations. the construction of the lights themselves seems solid but not highly refined. The stands on the other hand are on the wimpy side and made me nervous to extend to max without a sandbag. I am an organizer so the cases are nice to keep cords with the light fixtures.

Not durable and bad customer service

Just few days after the 1 year warranty went by, 8 LED bulds died on one of my light. Dracast didn't want to repair it for free. I had to pay 180.00 USD for the repair (plus 50.00$ for shipping, because they don't cover shipping). Also, when they sent back the light, they didn't label it as repair, so I had to pay 80.00 $ in tax and custom fees (I'm in Canada). They didn't want to pay the 80,00$ back to me, even it was their fault because they didn't correctly label the package...

Poor quality and really expensive

V-plates are really poorly designed and fried two of our batteries, Dimmer/intensity knobs broke in the first three months and now the intensity jumps from dim to 100 unexpectedly and the pegs that the lights mount on make it wobbly. These are not worth the price.

Had & Replaced with Other Brand; Save Yourself

I had bought this two light kit when they cost more than half what they now cost. That was $1,099 back in 2018, and now they're $2,489.25! They're definitely not worth what is being asked for now. Plus buying the soft boxes are more money than they should be. So the company is over charging for crappy quality. These lights are poor quality builds. The light output was good and fine. But the build of the lights feel apart. The yoke stripped and the bag zippers broke. They go with the cheapest material. By 2020 I bought other lights and kept these for backup extra use to minimize the falling apart nature. Eventually the Dracast LED lights went to the trash as they had no resale value being as broken as they were. I've moved on to another brand with better build lights and bags for LED Panel Lights. The bags are substantially better build, and the lights offer a lot more for less money. Compared to what I paid in 2018 the newer lights from a different company in 2021 cost close to what I paid for the Dracast lights, but a bit more. The soft boxes are better priced from the other company as well. Save yourself the hassle. Don't buy these. Just invest in another brand. I'm certainly not buying from Dracast ever again.

These lights were a great help with the first shoot I used these on - the bi-color and intensity were powerful and helpful. Love the battery power on these LED lights.

For the Pro series of Dracast lights (and the Plus, and Studio), to put in our pre-made diffusion filters, you will need either (a) barndoors, or (b) a filter frame. The lights come with a clear LED board protector sheet that slides into the slot closest to the LED bulbs.
