The Cavision 95mm Circular Polarizer Filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. This results in a noticeable increase in the saturation of skies and foliage, as well as clearer imagery when photographing in hazy conditions. A circular polarizer differs from a linear polarizer in that it supports full use of a camera's autofocus and auto exposure functions.

This filter measures 95mm in diameter and is constructed from optical glass for maintained image quality.

Helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface.
Arrange and filter directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light allowing for the absorption of much of the light.
Lessens haze in distant landscapes and provides more saturated, vivid colors.
Strongest effect when used at a 90° angle from the sun.
Circular polarizers are ideal for use with digital cameras and autofocus lenses where a linear polarizer will often disrupt auto exposure and focus features.
Constructed from high quality optical glass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Filter I never go anywhere without a polarizer filter! Works as expected and the photos show rich color!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money! This polarizer is difficult to use due to it's thin profile. Installation on the lens is difficult for the same reason. Once installed and adjusted, photos are blurred. It's not clear whether this is an optical issue with the polarizer or a result of camera shake blurring due to the slower shutter speed necessary because of the two f stop loss of light through the device. Either way, this device is useless. It was an expensive lesson.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Best if attached to a UV filter. I have no issues with the performance of this filter. However, when attached directly to the lens it can be difficult to remove as the gripping on the threaded ring is very narrow and difficult to grasp to loosen. The ring to adjust the filter itself is wider and tends to be in the way when trying to remove the filter. I've found that if the polarizing filter is attached to a UV filter, it is easy to remove both filters from the lens, then separate them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good, does not focus well Just received this CP with a Sigma 150-600 C lens for my Nikon D7200 . I placed the filter on the the lens before taking any photos, none of the 50 or so shots were in focus and the AF was very slow , my first thought was I had a bad lens but when I removed the CP and retook some shots they were TACK SHARP and the AF was super quick. I guess that is why this CP is so cheap compared to others

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Threads are rough I have had real trouble getting this filter to thread properly into the B+W UV filter on the lens. It does not go on smoothly and often gets stuck after a partial turn. I have bought a B+W to replace it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Threading doesn't hold. After the filter was screwed on, if you touched it it would fall off. The threading wasn't deep enough for it to stay attached.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy it again In South Florida bright sunlight is a big problem, this solves the problem.
