With a 2000:1 contrast ratio and an imager turned for color accuracy, the REALiS WUX6000 Professional Multimedia Projector from Canon is designed for critical viewing applications - including video screening rooms and photographic exhibitions, digital signage, image magnification, educational presentation, CAD, simulation, training, and more. It features a 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) native resolution 3-chip LCoS image device plus a brightness of 6000 lumens to help ensure a high image quality even where ambient light is present. This is an interchangeable lens projector that works with five optional lenses, including short-throw, zoom, and long-throw options. These are all available separately.

To ensure you will have the connector you need, the WUX6000 features HDMI, DVI-I, and VGA inputs. For general-purpose AV integration, the DVI-I port can also take a VGA signal (when used with a VGA-to-DVI adapter, sold separately). When used with a component-to-VGA adapter (also sold separately), the VGA port can accept a component signal. A 3.5mm audio input allows audio to accompany the DVI or VGA input, and an audio output allows you to connect amplified speakers or a sound system. You can also use the USB type-A female port to project JPEG images directly from a flash drive.

The WUX6000 supports integration with automation system such as AMX and Crestron via an RS-232 port. It can also be operated remotely using PJLink software via its Ethernet port. For control within the same room, an IR remote is included, and there is a wired remote available separately for installations where there is not a clean line-of-sight to the projector.

LCoS Imaging System
Liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS) is a three-chip LCD technology that is able to achieve closer pixel spacing compared to conventional 3LCD systems - reducing the appearance of the so-called "screen door effect". Aiming to provide a high color accuracy for critical imaging applications, the REALiS WUX6000 is able to achieve a contrast ratio of up to 2000:1
16:10 Native Aspect Ratio
This projector features a 16:10 native aspect ratio. This is considered a widescreen format, and comes very close to the 16:9 standard of HDTV. This format is ideal if you plan to show HD video, and can still be used for presentations - though in the case of PowerPoints, some extra space may be leftover on the sides. The projector can also show 4:3 video; however, black bars (pillaring) will have to be applied, or the image will have to be stretched or cropped to fit
6000 Lumens Lamp
A single lamp provides 6000 lumens brightness in Normal mode, and is estimated to last 3000 hours (up to 4000 if constantly used in the lowest brightness setting). To determine the ideal brightness level for your application, you will need to take into account the screen width, distance from the projector to the screen (throw distance), amount of ambient light near the screen, and the reflectivity (gain) of the screen surface used
Horizontal and Vertical Lens Shift
Lens shift performs a similar function to keystone correction, allowing the image to be correctly aligned if the projector is vertically or horizontally off-center relative to screen. The advantage of lens shift over keystone correction is that it is an optical adjustment, and does not impact image qualify

Note: The amount of lens shift varies for each lens model
Four-Corner Keystone Correction
Independent four-corner keystone correction enables precise alignment with the screen even if the projector is placed in awkward position. In some cases, it can also be used to conform the image to a screen/projection surface that isn't perfectly rectangular
Edge Blending
Edge blending digitally bleeds together adjacent images when combining multiple projectors to create custom aspect ratios or accommodate larger screen sizes than one projector alone can support
Vertical Projection
This projector can be used pointed straight up or straight down for creative AV installations. To use this feature, the appropriate cooling mode setting must be selected from the menu (refer to the manual for details)
USB Slideshows
JPEG images can be projected from a flash drive or other USB storage device that is FAT-formatted
Optional Wired Remote (RS-RC05)
A remote port on the back of the projector allows the use of the optional RS-RC05 wired remote (available separately). The advantage of a wired remote is that you do not need a direct line-of-sight connection with the projector. To use the remote, a 3.5mm stereo mini cable of the desired length is also required
Ethernet Port with PJLink
PJLink is a standard that allows you to operate this projector remotely across a local area network. Network control helps reduce IT administration costs by allowing an unlimited number of projectors to be managed from a central location
