Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! For years I've been searching for the perfect travel tripod, one that fits in the top compartment of my LowePro Fastpack 250! I'm so surprised that the company isn't advertising the the folded length as 8.6, which is what you get when you fold the legs upward. The only downside that drives me nuts is that the ballhead is not removable! Sometimes I'll just deal with the Varavon ballhead, but when I need a really steady shot, I'll screw on my Sirui G-20x on top (Looks ridiculous, but works) Great tripod, premium features, worth the money for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Sturdy Little Tripod This product is great. I bought it to shoot low furniture shots with a Nikon D800 and it supports the camera perfectly. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to shoot low with a heavy camera.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good produc very sturdy supporting my vortez razor 85mm spotting scope hss been used at the range worke wonderfully only downgrade is the quickness of mounting the scope and taking it off would have been great to have a quick release shoe

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This ain't no toy. You'd have to handle one to appreciate its robustness. I'm using it for close up/macro ground shots so the shortness is a plus. Then, with a telescoping extender I can add 12 additional inches all in a very small package which with the legs spread out still provides a solid camera base. The tilting/swivel head is perfect for a short camera rail which can point through the legs for ariel view. A very good investment as I scoot to the shoots on a bicycle so compact is my mantra.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Macro Tripod I use this tripod entirely for macro work to support my Canon 7d with a ring light. This setup for a pretty heavy setup that this tripod handles nicely. I can get down to less than 6 inches which I need a lot. The ballhead is simple but effective and compact. This is a relatively expensive tripod for the size but I couldn't find anything else in this size range of equal quality.
