Meprolight combines an unmagnified illuminated reflex sight with a visible red aiming laser into their 1x30 Mepro MOR Reflex Sight with Red Laser to reduce weight and occupied rail-space. This combination of reflex sight and aiming laser ensures extremely fast and accurate target acquisition and tracking, and can be used with magnified accessories. To make the usage easier, the reticle and laser are co-witnessed so windage and elevation adjustments apply to both.
The Bulls-Eye reticle has two primary illumination sources: fiber optics that focus ambient light, and a radioactive tritium system that provides light in low or no light. This passive illumination system ensures that the reticle is always on and visible in most lighting conditions; and without switches or intensity levels to adjust, changing from indoor to outdoor or day to night is instantaneous. In extreme light conditions, there is a battery-powered LED illuminator that can be activated to supplement the passive systems.
Complementing the reticle is a red aiming laser. This additional aiming solution provides and instant visual queue on your shot placement and is manually activated using an integrated remote pressure switch. The laser features an 1100 hour continuous runtime on two AA batteries, an automatic shut off when the controls haven't been touched in three hours, and a low-battery indicator when the runtime drops to 20 minutes.
